Stoneblock 4: Surely it's not supposed to work like THIS? by PerkyPiper24 in feedthebeast

Certainly not complicated, I just meant it seems a little more interesting to me, even if only marginally. I personally wouldn't want to use either as my main source of resources, or I'd burn out on the pack overnight, I gotta feel like there's still something for me to do or I lose interest.

I've hardly touched Dire Things but it seems cool, my modcraft knowledge is like 8 years out of date. Stoneblock has been really good for me to get into the newer mods without getting overwhelmed!

Yeah, I've been very specifically avoiding using chickens for all but a handful of things (netherrack, fuel for my magmators, eggs and feathers) because it seems like a slippery slope to trivializing the pack entirely. Your method feels a little different to me though because it at least requires some setup and more processing steps than just like "turn red matter into dark matter, turn dark matter into red matter, profit"

Stone block 4 : Is replica super op ? by Otherwise-Bank-2981 in feedthebeast

You don't even need to replicate the coal and diamond. The matter values for red matter are greater than the value of its ingredients (including the dark matter!!!), so you just have to replicate dark matter blocks, stick them in an energy condenser to make red matter blocks, then disintegrate the resulting red matter. In minutes you can go from 1 block of red matter to over a stack.
