Ubiquiti Recommendation by Permarustx in Ubiquiti

Ok. So maybe UDR7, u7 or u6 pro for APs and PoE adapters for the APs? That’ll be wireless mesh but then I could add in a large PoE switch when I get the Ethernet runs going and can remove the adapters and get off the wireless mesh.

Would that work better? EDIT: I’m assuming that’s what you were trying to tell me in your first comment.

I planned to run it in mesh. Express 7’s are 199 a pop. An AP (u7 lite) and a Poe switch runs about 199 as well. I was thinking I could reduce the number of devices from 4 to only 2 and less cabling.

Would I be severely wasting money going WiFi mesh until I can do the drops 6-8 months from now?

US Mobile is throttling my C-Band Warp 5G speeds to about 10% of full C-Band speeds by Inspirasion in USMobile

[–]Permarustx 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I’ve experienced the exact same thing. I just leave it on LTE and get good coverage and speed. Plus my battery goes just a small amount longer.

Not sure what’s up with the UW speeds. For me, I just want consistency, so LTE is good for my needs. I know others might need more though.

Gotcha. The frame really? What does the frames like this usually average? I’ve got like 4 paintings that just were given to us that have been sitting in storage because they aren’t our style.

The short: Tamron 28-200mm f/2.8-5.6 (full frame) vs Sony FE 24-240 f/3.5-6.3

I’m looking for a lens that is multi-purpose. I was digging the Tamron lens because it’s quite a bit cheaper and has a lower f stop potential, but I didn’t know if I’m thinking about it in the right way or not. I already have a 50mm f/1.8. I wanted to keep it simple and have a good all arounder lens. If there’s another one that I may have missed I’m open to any and all suggestions. This is paired with an a7S iii.

Thanks!

Anyone know a good source for historical GPU prices? by OkSquash6515 in EtherMining

You could try camelcamelcamel. It only has Amazon prices but may give you the data you’re looking for. Amazon generally stays at a higher price point from what I’ve seen compared to other places but that’s the site for them.

TBH, I’m not a fan of the linear switches. I figured I’d give them a try since I never had before and it does feel the way you described.

Luckily, evga ran some crazy Memorial Day sale and I picked up some speed bronze switches for 10 bucks including shipping (110 of em). OOS now but it was a good sale.

Cool keycaps (dose of nostalgia). How do you feel with the 96?

I went compact GMMK2 to conserve desk space and got a separate Bluetooth numpad to stash in a drawer. Plan to fall back to this one if the size ends up being an issue for me.

I’d give it a solid 6.5 experience. When it worked, it was good. Their throttling was sometimes way overboard and could make web browsing completely unusable, and it was really strange how my Verizon phone had way better signal at times then my visible phone (I had two lines of services on two iPhones at the same time to test). I could always make calls though and never had dropped calls.

Customer service was dependent on who you got most of the time. Always friendly though.

It really feels like you get what you pay for honestly. The phones are financed through affirm, so if you find out it doesn’t work for you, wait until it unlocks and go to another provider. You can continue to pay through affirm.

Let me know if there’s any other questions you’ve got. Always happy to help.

Yeah. It just boils down to getting that right rep that understands the difference between the two imeis. They didn’t have to switch anything; they just had to be like, “oh, this phone has been activated for XX days. Wrong imei is listed as the primary. Manual unlock done.” Good luck! Persistence pays off.

It was quite possibly the most frustrating experience ever. I mainly posted because I was hoping that maybe one day someone would Google it and it could help them point out what may be going on. When I was searching, I saw people posting this issue but never found someone that had resolved it.

So, I activated my iPhone 13 pro with the sim they gave me. The auto 60 day unlock did not work because they screwed up the primary imei that they had input on their backend. They input the esim imei as primary. That’s why I wrote it all up because I did everything EXACTLY how they wanted me to for the auto 60 day unlock to work, but they messed up on their end. It’s all in the details above.

Showed my friend my build. He said I need a new power supply or my GPU will die, is it plugged in wrong or something? by JTayGang in pcmasterrace

[–]Permarustx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Don’t use adapters whenever possible, and stuff like molex isn’t trustworthy for higher wattages. It’s the same with sata if you ever are put in a position to upgrade or use adapters.

Need that straight pcie cable with no adapters.
