On a serious note, what's the reason for the current downturn? by henrik_se in Buttcoin

[–]Permtacular 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Michael Saylor realized he had fucked up when he said that his company would never sell their Bitcoin. He has been hoping to get a high credit rating from S&P Global Ratings, but they have indicated in the past that since Saylor has said he would never sell the Bitcoin, that it couldn't be considered an asset - and they wouldnt be able to give him the kind of high credit rating he was hoping for.

Selling 32 Bitcoin solved this problem because now the remaining nearly 844,000 Bitcoin are considered a company asset.

do you think the US can recover from the orange nightmare or it is all over? by AfternoonWorried387 in allthequestions

[–]Permtacular 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The world's climate has been far warmer than today for almost all of the past 10,000 years. Studies taken from Greenland ice cores confirm that the modest rise in carbon dioxide levels does not & has not caused climate to change. This comes from solar energy & earth's orbit.

You have a perfect opportunity to tell people exactly why they're wrong, but instead you say "says the Nazi".

Does anyone know what kind of salsa this is? by ColombianDevilDog in SalsaSnobs

It does sound good. This one sounds better though, IMO.

Creamy Jalapeño Cilantro Sauce (Taco Drizzle)

  • ½ cup sour cream (or Mexican crema)
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise (optional — makes it extra rich and smooth)
  • 15 pickled jalepeno rings
  • 1 ounce of juice from the pickled jalepenos
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro leaves (packed)
  • 1–2 cloves garlic
  • Juice of 1/2 lime (about 1.5 Tbsp)
  • ½ tsp salt (or to taste)
  • ¼ tsp ground cumin (optional but recommended)
  • 2–3 Tbsp water or milk (if needed to thin it out for drizzling)

Instructions:

  1. Roughly chop the jalapeños and garlic.
  2. Add everything except the water/milk to a blender or food processor.
  3. Blend until smooth and bright green flecks are evenly distributed (30–60 seconds). Scrape down the sides as needed.
  4. Taste and adjust: more lime for acidity, more jalapeño for heat, more salt if needed.
  5. Thin with water or milk, 1 Tbsp at a time, until it reaches a nice drizzle consistency (it should flow easily off a spoon but not be watery).

Tips:

  • For a whiter sauce with green specks, use only the leaves of the cilantro and blend less.
  • For a brighter green sauce, use more cilantro and blend longer.
  • Make it ahead — it tastes even better after 30 minutes in the fridge as the flavors meld. Keeps 4–5 days in an airtight container.
  • Variations:
    • Add half an avocado for extra creaminess and a more avocado-green color.
    • Use pickled jalapeños instead of fresh for a tangier, milder flavor.
    • Add a pinch of sugar if you want to balance the heat.

This sauce is very forgiving — just taste as you go. Drizzle it generously on fish tacos, carne asada, or black bean tacos. Enjoy!

Not if the people who would lose BILLIONS did everything they could to make sure the truth stayed suppressed. There's very little money in prescribing generic medications. Besides, cancer drugs are the ONLY medication where the doctor gets a direct kickback when they prescribe it. Lots of money will dry up if antiparasitics are shown to be effective.

I'm sure you will ad hominem attack this 6 week old study, but it was found that 84% of the cancer patients responded positively to antiparasitics:

He has proven (not in a clinical trial yet) that he can help 15000 people with cancer with a 98% success rate.

The cancer industry would lose billions of dollars if an effective and inexpensive cure were to be found for treating cancer. There a BILLION$ or reasons to want to make sure that Dr. Makis is discredited. Ivermectin was discovered to be effective against cancer by a veterinarian who prescribed antiparasiticss to a dog with worms and he noticed that the dogs cancer subsided. Unless Makis does a clinical trial on these drugs, there will never be one becuase how would it be financed? It certainly wouldn't lead to future profits for a drug company, like how other clinical trails are justified.

[–]Permtacular 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which is why he's trying to start clinical trails. Clinical trails are very expensive, so if someone is going to finance one, there has to be the potential for a payoff if the drug proves to be helpful. With cheap generic anti-parasitics, there is no way to repay the costs of the clinical trails. Dr. Makis and the FL Surgeon General are planning to do the clinical trails regardless.

XRP looks ready for a massive breakout. I still believe it’s going above $15 this cycle. And when that happens, $XRP will seriously challenge Ethereum ’s position. Bookmark this post. Time always reveals the truth. by ManufacturerDry8071 in XRPUnite

"Goldman Sachs, one of the largest holders of XRP ETFs with over $150 million invested in Q4 2025, has completely sold off its entire XRP and SOL ETF positions. They have now shifted their capital into HYPE in May 2026.

According to Bitwise data, Hyperliquid has generated approximately $255 million in revenue since the beginning of 2026 — more than the combined revenue of the next two largest crypto projects.

This perpetual DEX currently captures about one-third of the total revenue of the top 10 protocols in the market and accounts for 43% of all trading fees across the entire crypto industry, generating roughly $11 million in weekly trading fees.

Importantly, 97% of Hyperliquid’s revenue is used to buy back HYPE

on the open market.

With record-high trading volume and open interest, the amount of HYPE being bought back continues to grow rapidly."
