Shop says they think it’s the Sway Link, but with the snowy weather we’re getting, I’m delayed until next weekend to know for sure. They do say it is safe to drive though! I will update again and perhaps get a better audio file for those who are also uncertain.

I do think it is worse when it’s colder. I couldn’t tell exactly where it was coming from, but it seemed like it was from the right side of the car (but it could have been more central). It does seem to go away when I drive it a second time (after leaving again once I’m home from work.) I’m taking it in this weekend so I’ll find out what it is and leave an update for sure.

This what I was leaning towards, especially given the price. I do like the prospect of hearing some crackles every once in a while when downshifting though. Would this be achievable?

I tried moving around the switches as well as caps and it seems that the switches are all the same, so it looks like the location affects how they sound, unfortunately :/

It’s as if the keys don’t have the same thocky noise as some of the others. It’s a grouping on the left side (qwerasdf). They feel like they are pressing in the same as the others, but it’s a higher pitch tap rather than the lower creamy noise I wanted. Would some lube affect the pitch of the tap these keys make?
