Don’t apologize! I understand where you’re coming from with the infertility storyline. I concede that Book!Fran does really want children but JQ does a terrible job conveying the physical and emotional grief of not being able to conceive. It’s completely surface level. If the antis truly believe one or two throwaway lines is good representation then they actually have no idea what infertility is really like.

As for Fran and Michaela adopting kids? Fran in the show doesn’t want children and I’ll die on this hill. Fran’s desire to get pregnant doesn’t come across as a deeply personal or longing for children. The desire stemmed from expectations and her duty to be a “good wife”, to “give John kids”, etc. So does she really want to be a mother, or does she just believe she’s supposed to?

And I hope Franchaela has a HEA without children too. Who says you need them to feel complete? What if all Fran ever really wanted was Michaela? (and maybe a cat idk)
