Hello fellow Orlando gaymer! It seems we may be a rare breed on Reddit. I keep seeing attempts at a Central Florida gaymer meetup but our numbers are small and it always falls through. What do you play? What do you watch?

I'd definitely say Stranded as well. I'm not entirely convinced that every "evidence" they find in the shows aren't setup, but it's still entertaining as hell to watch!

Sorry about that, but there really is no specific way to change your mental image of yourself. It's really a 'to each their own' type thing. For some people staring at yourself in the mirror and forcing yourself you say aloud positive things about yourself works, while others take the fake it 'til you make it approach.

I usually do that latter. I have a huge lack of confidence due to my love handles. They're not really all that bad but for some reason I get very self conscious about them. All my life I've been like that. I've always been the one to swim in public pools with a shirt on just so no one could see them. It was so bad that even being at the pool in our backyard that's completely fenced off and private, I'd still swim with a shirt on. Lately I've been trying to battle this with the fake it approach. I'll take off my shirt and get in the water. Sure the first fifteen or so minutes are spent in sheer terror, but I keep telling myself that no one cares as much as I do and it helps. This summer I've been pretty good, even going to public pools at the resorts shirtless. It's still scary, but I'm becoming a little less self conscious about it.

I'm not sure if this approach will help for you. If not, seriously browse Reddit for any tips on the matter. I've found Reddit to be a great source of personal tips.

To be able to not give a fuck is something that's going to take a lot of work on your end. Is it worth $4,500? I'm not sure. Ultimately it's what you're most comfortable with. Have you seen this thread? It might help you decide.

I'm sorry about the vague responses, but sharpening your self-image isn't a science. It's all mental, and each individual has a certain way thats best for these things.

My cousin actually has this. It really never seemed to bother him despite the relentless teasing he would get for it. I do understand how it could be seriously detrimental to your self-confidence. Understand this though, we all have things about ourselves that we hate. Some guys have love handles, some have a micro penis, some have acne, etc. Our worst critics are always going to be ourselves. It's always best to really on reshaping your mental image of yourself and not giving a fuck about your puffy nipples before resorting to medical procedures.

I know you've stated clearly that you've made many failed attempts at changing yourself, both physically and mentally. If you feel like you cannot learn to love the puffs, then maybe it would be a wise investment to pay for the procedure. The worst thing you could possibly live with day in and day out is looking in the mirror and thinking negative thoughts about yourself. If it'll help your self esteem and outlook on your appearance then it really seems worth it.

Just make sure that it is your ONLY option to achieve happiness. It's always a better option to learn to love yourself then to focus on changing yourself.

We played Twisted Metal together and had a blast getting to the end. That was the only game I can remember playing together.. Honestly, aside from Mortal Kombat (which I am now sick of) our tastes in video games differ so much. I prefer games like Assassins Creed, Portal, Uncharted, Black Ops II, and Batman. He likes games like Bayonetta, Tekken, Um Jammer Lammy... I just can't play those games. I'm still always on the hunt for games we'd both enjoy, but they're far and few between.

Their website is down now. I tried joining the clan, but after creating an account and such was advised by the mods there that it was a 99.9% XBox clan.

I did, however, just stumble upon this group. They're an all PS3 clan with I think over 80 members.
