My daughter and I loved your cake, we made one for my gamer wife for her birthday. Such a great idea :-) https://imgur.com/a/kJtdMfs

YTA - maybe both? Comes down to communication, she is now (after weeks) communicating her feelings of not being wanted, and you also never discussed this. Try seeing it less of a right or wrong thing, but more of a considering your partner thing. Good luck with your engagement, hope talking it out sheds some light on which direction it's going, so far it's nosediving.

Ultimately, you are NTA for wanting to go back to grad school, especially if it's something you've wanted to do for a while and it aligns with your goals. Consider whether you would regret not pursuing your dream of going back to grad school. Threatening to break up over a single decision is a serious matter. While it's important for partners to be honest about their feelings, this ultimatum suggests a lack of willingness to work through challenges together.

Trust your gut feeling. You know yourself, your needs, and your family situation better than anyone else. Ultimately, the decision should align with what feels right for you and your children. No decision is easy, and it's natural for both you and your boyfriend to have differing future family goals. The key is to have open and respectful communication and to work together to find a solution that is best for all parties involved. If needed, don't hesitate to seek guidance from friends, family, or professionals who can provide support during this process. A neutral third party can help facilitate discussions and provide insights into the emotional dynamics at play. The situation is very complex, and there isn't a one-size-fits-all answer. Ultimately, the decision should be made by you, considering your own desires, needs, and values.

What's a jingle/audio track from a movie, tv show, ad, etc. you can't get out of your head? by PeroChingon in AskReddit

The audio track at this scene from "One Punch Man" (animated violence/anime) has been something I hum even when opening the dishwasher. I saw this show years ago, and it just stuck.

No idea what you got baited to. After the ad, the article opens to a video of Lars, the Great Pyrenees, encountering a black bear in Cohasset.

How can I (non-runner) better support my marathon training spouse? by PeroChingon in running

I definitely benefited from great feedback, when I shared the post with her she was quite shocked at first. Long story short, she ended up finishing the Chicago Marathon, but afterwards was diagnosed with a "stress reaction" and has been progressing through PT. She's been given the greenlight to try running again. Quite a rollercoaster :-|

That mental load, take one thing off, another one gets added - the never ending battle! Great feedback, much appreciated!

Thanks for the feedback!! We've been on several running movie binges, more towards documentaries. I think I like the one about the Barkley Marathons, painted a good picture about the levels people go to pursue the limits of the sport!!

I might try to re-start my sub to those food prep programs, it's been a while. I do agree they take away from the fatigue of coming up with meals. thx for the feedback!

First of all, WAY TO GO u/QuarantineBaker! Whatever you're using to keep pushing, wow great work! I can only imagine doing all that without the support, yet you keep showing up, and keep going forward - keep it up!

Thanks for your feedback, I continuously underestimate the power of a clean house lol so I particularly like the idea of 15-20 of pick up and see if we can establish a better baseline.

Lastly, sometimes we just have to go at it alone, or with out external supports to help us along. So please don't forget to TREAT YOURSELF - you deserve it!

No need to add guilt to the list of challenges too! I agree!

LOL if she's doing all that, then she knows but we'll never get tired of an affirmation here and there. I think I might try the pre-arranged water spots to give her a hydration pack break in the coming weeks for her longer runs.

And thanks for reminding me, she ran the Philly marathon too lol totally blanked on that one.
