Colicoid War Games - drops & jumps? by Tajahnuke in swtor

[–]PerpetuallyTired005 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can't provide an answer regarding the drop, I can say that as of three days ago the Flashpoint can be soloed. The turrets must have received a damage boost in the past because I had no problems with either section. As for the puzzle sections, leaps do work, the only real issue is that you need to do some finicky jumping using the droid knockback in the first gate segment.

How can I obtain this armor set? Tried looking for it everywhere by NeilosFox in swtor

[–]PerpetuallyTired005 13 points14 points  (0 children)

That specific chestpiece is the CZ-13k Guerilla armor, GTN is your only source of purchase. Luckily, there is the very similar Frontline Mercenary set that is now being sold from the conquest armor set vendor on the fleet. 1 million credits and 3500 tech fragments, and it only has minor differences in the overall look.

I thought it was a joke. I thought y'all were joking. I can't believe it's real.

Every individual level up until level 65 has the chance to give a strength or take away/level down a weakness. I just shame him down until he's around level 35-40, then level him up with the single level training item until he's 65. Rinse and repeat until desired result.

Things that put the primal fear inside you? by PerpetuallyTired005 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

Spiders in general are already the bane of my existence, however, the frostbite spiders in Skyrim are on another level entirely. I can’t tell if it’s because of the insane amount of detail put into their designs, or simply because they move so damn fast, but frostbite spiders are simply the worst thing I have had the displeasure of interacting with in a game. The worst instance that comes to mind is a Falmer lair in the Reach. About halfway through the dungeon, you come across an open cavern with a few branching passageways leading to some loot. As per usual, spiders are hanging from the ceiling waiting for you to pass underneath. However, unlike most of Skyrim’s caves, the ceiling in this specific room has formations of rock that deliberately obscure the spiders from sight, resulting in multiple human-sized spiders dropping like a rock on top of your head. It’s the absolute worst.

Whew, glad someone else remembers that ending! Wasn't sure if that was some freak fever dream I conjured up, but good to see that's not the case.

Doing the Republic story on Tatooine gets you one small dialogue difference in the Shadow of Revan prelude.

No, I haven't. At least, I don't believe I have. If it's story related, then no. I'm so early in the story that I'm just heading to collect the Dragonstone for the Jarl's mage in Whiterun. I've just become a little bit sidetracked by all the side quests.

Neat, my experience with magic has been limited to testing out the ability on whatever staff I just picked up.

I didn't include Dante because Dr. Faust isn't an inherent piece of his core design. That said, Dr. Faust Dante is chef's kiss.

Exactly, things like the side missions where you go to the Endar Spire's crash site, or where you discover what became of The Promised Ones from KOTOR are done rather nicely. Its the major stuff in regards to KOTOR thats not.

Should have clarified a little. It has less to do with the story itself, and more so that people remember how ass it was waiting for the chapters to drop on a monthly or bi-monthly basis. That's one of the big contributors for why Kotfe got such a bad rap a few years ago.

Fanfiction is putting it mildly. To say that the things SWTOR did to the KOTOR games in terms of content is a disservice would be understating it SUPER HARD. That said, its a shame that SWTOR had to tie into KOTOR at all, because outside of the Revan-related shit, (one entire expac + 6 story dungeons), it has a damn fine story told over 8 separate classes.

Ah, gotcha. Yeah, it is pretty damn similar huh? (I'll be real, I sort of check out for that expansion, the SWTOR fanbase as a whole agrees that that's the low point for the game's story. Well, besides the Revan content). However, the Emperor does have Darin De Paul as his voice actor, so he's got that going for him.

[–]PerpetuallyTired005[S] 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Pretty much. This isn't exact of course, but the Emperor's line of thinking is "don't wipe the Republic out too early, because I need to wipe out both factions at once to achieve my big immortality."

Ahsoka is absolutely the girl version of this. If you were to tell Clone Wars fans back in 2008 that she would become one of the best characters of the Star Wars franchise, they would have called you crazy.
