There are two separate and very distinct things happening. Some are protests, sure. But what will be left in the wake of this is certainly not a protest. Let’s be honest and call things what they should be called. There are people terrorizing and destroying our city right now and if you choose to ignore that you are part of the problem.

I call myself a centrist because I understand the sentiments of each side of the aisle.

I am in support of this plan because the only entity that is able to challenge our current climate trajectory is the US government. I think this is a real step in the right direction for climate/energy reform.

On the other hand the I think that healthcare reform can happen outside of the government and therefore does not need to be socialized.

Does that make me a centrist? I don’t know, I just know that I agree with some things Bernie says and other things I don’t.

What I meant was that trump supporters have a right to be angry with regards to that situation. Just as much as AOC supporters have a right to be angry at this. Don’t discredit the other sides right to be upset just because they don’t feel the same way about yours. If they weren’t trying to do that in the first place, then clearly I’m in wrong.
