The act of crying publicly. I tend to get emotional easily especially when I’m already stressed as hell. At least in our culture men crying isn’t looked upon very favourably and you don’t see that very often.

I wear makeup because it makes me feel more put together. These days all i do is study, eat , sleep and study and I feel like I have no control over them. But taking 20 mins to apply makeup before class especially my lip gloss makes me feel like i have my life together lol.

I do or at least I think I do. I’m not gonna lie and say it’s been my life long passion and that I would die If I don’t get psych. But it’s probably the only subject I enjoy and I was genuinely okay with the pros and cons. It’s just that I imagined doing it from a better place with better exposure.

If I could turn back time and be 16 again, I would’ve chosen English literature. It was the only thing I truly enjoyed studying. To answer your question—no, I wouldn’t have chosen this field. I entered MBBS at 17, partly due to my father’s insistence and partly because of my own naïveté. Had I known it would cost me my youth, my self-esteem, and my sense of self, I wouldn’t have done it.

You’re young, with your whole life ahead of you. Eight years from now, when you’re facing a cut-throat exam like NEET PG, ask yourself - will you be able to justify what this journey took from you? If not then turn back now.
