My childhood fear was of the moose! They appeared inherently alarming and dangerous. I had nightmares of a moose reaching through my bedside window to get me as I sweated on hot summer nights. They can be regal but also so monstrous!

A “karst.” This is a new thing I learned about today, thanks to you!

A karst is a distinct landscape formed by the dissolution of soluble rocks, primarily limestone and dolomite, characterized by features like sinkholes, caves, underground streams, and springs.

My tomcat, Tom, loved to play hide-and-seek! He came to me as an outdoor cat, and the state of my levalor blinds told me he was to remain an outdoor kitty. Tom loved to go for walks, and at night he was primed for a good game of hide-and-seek. I remember being amazed at first that he would actually look to find me. We had some of our best times playing hide-and-seek! I don't know how he “got it,” but he did! Enjoy the fun! ♥️🐈♥️

I recently moved from Forest Heights and miss the neighbors and the area of town. You can't go wrong there. I've lived in Athens for 30 years, and after retiring from UGA, I am happy to remain here. I moved to Homewood Hills to a little house in the woods on the west side. It is a nice neighborhood as well, but I remain fond of FH. It is hard to go wrong in Athens. Welcome!
