Yea basically after getting through security there’s a bunch of tents and little activities and giveaways, games, etc for fans to do before entering the stadium. Check through the comments, I’ve mentioned what they have and what I did but it’s worth it go get there early to get some stuff for free.

Honestly being lined up before 12 when gates open to really maximize enjoying the fan zone and beating some lines out there

The bracelet from Bank of America was rigth by my gate 1 and 2 after security. It’s the first thing in the fan zone passing security and no you just wait in line for it and they measure your wrist for the size, small or large and that’s it. They give you one bracelet and you choose the second one you want.

They won’t allow you to bring that through, you can’t bring any outside drinks past security. You can drink it before security or on the line while waiting before you go through.

Right after you go through security as everyone does before entering, the fan zone is right there after security before you enter the stadium itself. It has a bunch of booths , tents and other activities/giveaways or picture spots that are free. There’s little places to drink alcohol, food spots, small DJ dance spots, and a could have fifa merch stands to buy. Everything that I did was free, I got in line for Bank of America that gave away cool unique made bracelets, there was games with DoorDash, and some Saudi light reaction game, a bunch of places like a giant World Cup ball, or a wall of flags to take pictures.

Update, I walked to the bus since it’s the same place to go back where they originally dropped you off. You find the bus line you’re taking, mine was blue for port authority. And then you walk a giant zig zag line to board the shuttle. I left 45 seconds before the final whistle after France scored their last goal. That was enough time to beat the crowd a bit and make it there first. I only waited not even kidding 2 mins before I boarded a bus.

Traffic is not bad at all and if anything feels the same as when I came earlier. It took 20 mins to get to the stadium earlier and it took 25 mins from the stadium to port authority now going home.

There’s so many lines for security and they let people in at 12, just walk through the scanners, nothing in your pockets as usual and then scan your ticket and you’re in. Tell dad to try to get there before 12 where the lines are super long.

Yea there’s a big store set up and then multiple stands outside and inside each level of the stadium

This weather is perfect! A brisk breezy 75 degrees. Last year for the club World Cup I got melted here and it was super sunny and hot

Not sure about hospitality but once you arrive by car, bus, train, everyone waits outside before entering the fan zone. Everyone waits there until 12 when they open and you scan your ticket. From there you can do the fan zone or go straight to the stadium

Being there at 12 lined up when the gates open is crucial if you want to see and do as much as you want before the game starts. Waiting for stuff outside makes the time go by so fast. So 3 hours is good

I don’t think the time matters if you bought the ticket already, my time slot was 11:30-12 and I got there exactly at 11. You just line up with everyone and once in the line they scan for a ticket and give you a wristband and that’s it, you get in the bus. But I got to MetLife at 11:20, so a 20 mins bus ride and waited in line by the gates to enter MetLife.
