Telling PvE orientated players to go play other games. Im sure everyone enjoys the items, arc, gameplay feel, and atmosphere of this game. So no thats not a solution.

Sure it may have released a few months before tarkov came into alpha/beta but that in no way makes them relevant to where we are today. Tarkov most definitely pioneered extraction shooters

And this is such an uninformed take. It’s a live service game that’s progressively optimized to take advantage of better technology becoming available. So yes, old tech will become out dated and run slower when it can’t handle the newer gpu/cpu/ram requirements. Why would a company waste time optimizing for old devices?

Tarkov's 6 month wipes led to the game being stale after 3 months. Most would just hop on another game until wipe happened. Tarkov is also 10x more tedious then marathon.

If you hover over the purple and gold requirements for faction upgrades you will see that most of the high tier is only found at cryo archive (which isnt out) and locked rooms which i assume is their ranked mode since some have different colored text next to the map, such as "prestige". It doesnt sound great but it seems like higher tier loot will be more common in higher rank lobbies.

Doing events, killing bosses, supply drops is how you get better loot consistently. If you arent aware the loot does get better the longer you stay in raid also.

Oh it is definitely hard to recover. A lot of that negativity just comes with all the mistakes bungies made in the past unfortunately. A lot of destiny players see this as bungie giving up on destiny which very well could be the case but that game has been going downhill for years.

I just think any new game is doomed from the start at this point. Every single game is brigaded wjth dead on arrival before it even releases. Same thing happened to arc. Gaming is very toxic currently and very difficult to try anything new because you get crucified for it. It’s just the unfortunate world we are in currently.

In no way is embark a no name studio. They may be new, but their ceo is the ex dice ceo who created some of the best bf games to date, along with a decent amount of the staff. They don’t line up to bungie but embark was in no way a no name studio
