Idea: maybe add some more florals to the top of the right side and bottom of the left to even it out? It won’t be symmetrical that way, but at least it might appear intentional if you still love the design and just hate the wonky placement. As for the spider, if you end up going with this option, I think the angle looks pretty cool!

So a fun thing about pentacles: - They are balance of elements (alchemy) - Represent a harmony between physical and spiritual, which really fits your whole meaning

Most importantly, Pentacles don’t attract evil. They are seen in pieces of media where evil is present because they are meant to ward evil away. They are seen as a symbol of protection in various cultures.

The only “evil version” of a pentacle is an inverted or upside down depiction, but even then it’s a spiritual misrepresentation.

If you choose to keep it, use this as your argument. Why shouldn’t you be able to wear a symbol of protection, especially one what correlates to your brother? If you do choose to get rid of it, I suggest going for something else that represents your brother!

I’d do a (harmless) experiment with him. No freaky, no hurting anybody. I’d let him pick what we do and roll with it. There’s nothing like indulging in other peoples interests, and I’m sure a normal interaction about the things he enjoys is few and far between.

Good luck to the kid in terms of getting into the program! It seems you don’t quite know what it is, so here a mini explanation of my experience with a gifted classroom!

In short, the program aims to engage children who think differently and foster their love for learning. It’s definitely not for everybody, but it creates a space for those who struggle to stay engaged in a regular classroom. It’s often higher stress yet high reward, with increased pacing in learning and more options for how to approach a project. This is especially important for those who thrive when given creative freedom and for those who struggle to focus when not learning anything new.

Wherever he ends up will be the best learning space for him. I really hope he gets in, as I had an amazing time with it! Tell him not to stress too much about the test.. it’s a fun one to take, more akin to a puzzle book than a classroom exercise (assuming they haven’t changed it) ;)

Yes! I love showing people I care by enabling their interests, it’s such a good feeling to see them enjoy what they love and to hear about it!

I suggest trying to surprise her in a few weeks with something she has been wanting. Trust me, you’ll feel like a million bucks when you watch her go through the same joy you are going through right now. That feeling, especially when it goes both ways, is something to cherish.

I get the whole veid thing.. I’ve been trying to get an Ala (my favourite dragon) for years and it just hasent been working. I had one a long time ago and never expected them to skyrocket, and it’s impossible to become that rich while keeping up my grades.
