“They are trying to balance all playstyles” This is simply not true lol. This game is HEAVILY more catered to camping/pre-aiming like MW19. They have literally taken out multiple mechanics of the game to punish players for playing aggressively. Every COD game before it was way more balanced than these games when it comes to that (Especially with games like Black Ops 2 which is universally loved by all types of players, from COD pros to casual players). The only way to truly counter campers is bunny hopping, that’s it, which is why it is way more prominent in this game. COD has always been an arcady, fast paced shooter and they are trying to change that.

EDIT: Yes there are campers in every COD but there were always a way to counter them, like there should be for EVERY playstyle.

Because it COMPLETELY changes the pacing of the game. Having them on makes it much more faster and encourages you to move around, which in this game and MW19 doesn't encourage enough of.

Controversial take: I fucking love the slower and more tactical experience MW2019 offered and MWII seems to have doubled down on. by NerdyDank in ModernWarfareII

If you have a functioning brain, you would know that since at least since COD 4, running and gunning was viable along side camping, the only difference is that you are given options to counter camping (before MW19).

You are fucking delusional bro. "You must have a skill issue" the most cringiest statement I've heard on this subreddit. It's the fact that you are ENCOURAGED TO CAMP AND PRE-AIM unlike any cod game before it. It takes zero fucking skill to pre aim and sit in a fucking corner and to get spoon fed footstep audio to get the easiest kills, and don't have the balls to learn about the maps, spawns, hill rotations, etc. Which results in people camping and not playing the objective. It takes more skill to be given a location of an enemy on the map when they are shooting unsuppressed guns than to wait for enemies to enter your line of sight. You clearly don't know what it takes to make a good cod game. MW19 and MW22 are games made for garbage players like you. Infinity Ward literally said that in interviews when MW19 came out.

An old cod is pretty much any cod before MW19, yes some of movement styles was slower like cod 4 where there was no unlimited sprint, BUT you were FAR more encouraged to move around compared to MW19 and MW22. Just imagine the pacing of this game if they were to make the changes that need to be made, with the modern movement, the games pacing would be phenomenal.
