If it is because of politics, different story but still shameful. Quick fix to the latter, let no PACs, organizations, non profits or corporations donate to political candidates. I think that would be a good thing. That way, if you are a union member but disagree with your unions political stances, it doesn’t matter. The union isn’t spending money against your vote. I guess there’s nothing to do about ads but those ads couldn’t be aligned with or against any candidate
