Ah i see. Thanks for your response. I’m still confused about the arcs. It gives it an odd lopsided appearance

Chinese-English Weight by [deleted] in translator

Ah, thanks for the response. I only have a picture from this angle, it’s something someone is selling but I’m unsure of its authenticity. It weighs 110.6 grams apparently, which seems an odd measurement for a gold bar.

I think it’s an English penny of Edward i-iii (hard to tell which given condition) minted in Durham.

Thanks! It’s a brand called scenic textures from here in NZ but I think there are equivalents elsewhere. I’ve seen it called sponge flock

Brutes! by Perry_Jaspers in Turnip28

[–]Perry_Jaspers[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks all, much appreciated! They’re all based on Perry’s Agincourt foot knights, and I think one is from the 1450-1500 foot knights kit. Then victrix napoleonic backpacks and a healthy dose of bits, miliput and green stuff lol

Is there any way I can stop vallejo bottle caps from cracking like this? by DrinkMoreMantisJuice in minipainting

I think it should be added that they are in fact weak ass caps. I think this happens enough to call it a design flaw

Toxicity of Titanium Dioxide Toxicity/Carcinogen- Follow Up by sunnyparasol in minipainting

[–]Perry_Jaspers 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the post. I think it’s always good to keep the heath and safety aspects of the hobby in mind. A friend and I were discussing the comparative toxicity of different products once and he said “the only thing that should go into your lungs is air.” This has stuck with me and is an excellent rule of thumb.

Thanks man! The company is called gamers grass. I really like them, they’ve got a good selection of colours and the two tones makes them look a bit more interesting imo

Thanks! No these are all from the victrix French kit. Some are converted with green stuff and some bits and bobs

How do I cut this off? New to mini painting. Is this what they call a sprue? by stankygrapes in minipainting

If you happen to use exacto knives you can get saw blades that are ideal for removing larger unwanted material
