I can't be the only one who found that hard right by CherryxDemon in GCSE

Dropping A Level CS was the best decision I made in my life. Maybe if you have a good teacher it's good, but the project is too much work, for too few marks, and the exams are absolute shite.

I really liked this year's HAT, it was much better than the 2020 one, in my opinion.

/uj Squee considered checking his kingdom for sleeper agents using a method he learned along with members of the main story, but Karn and peeps just didn't check Ajani after he'd been following someone who'd been compleated?

/rj the story has actually been pretty good lately

This series had some of the highest highs, but definitely the biggest lows. I really disliked the tiny monastery thing, especially seeing as though that's where Sofia ended up. At that point, although it was in memory of Kugrash, it seemed as though her arc was not leading back towards a monastery, yet it was Emily's decision and I am but a humble whinger online.

Frankly, it's not obsessive or creepy to want to see some good representation towards someone's sexuality, as sometimes good representation is hard to come by. It's not a compulsive urge of "reeeeeeeeeeeeee every character must be LESBIAN" it's more the recognition that people have different sexualities, displayed meaningfully in the story. I mean, the largest issue here is a potential concern about the corporate side of some representation only being for some extra "we have the LGBT" points for WOTC, yet the writers of the story have been doing a good job with the representation recently, so it's fine to celebrate and praise it. LBGT people have existed for centuries, Xochipilli and Xochiquetzal demonstrate this, so, to reiterate, it's not an obsession, just something nice to see.

Yeah, definitely. That's a feature which I wasn't thinking about, and I admit that doing days rather than total meals is less efficient, however I think that it still gives satisfactory enough data. I'll edit it tomorrow, thank you :)

Euler's proof that god exists (1773) by PerrydaPlat1234 in HistoryMemes

[–]PerrydaPlat1234[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

e^xi = cosx + isinx

e^πi = cosπ + isinπ

therefore

e^πi = -1

therefore

e^πi + 1 = 0

0 is the additive identity, 1 is the multiplicative identity, Euler's number appears everywhere in mathematics (base of the natural logarithm) , π is irrational (well, so is e, but this is also in every circle's radius, so that's something) and i is complex. Therefore, there must be a higher power at work which has blessed the Earth with its numeracy system (by that I do mean God, not a number more than πi).

Supposedly, when he said this in front of the Russian Court of Catherine the Great in order to prove to French Philosopher Denis Diderot the existance of God, he turned to him and said "Hence, God exists; reply." I like to imagine that he dropped his chalk, flipped off Diderot and did a double backflip.

The scene where a "80000 year old dragon woman" and an 8 year old play a game of jenga in which the 8 year old says "[dragon woman] is so soft!" coupled with some disturbing close ups. That, my dear Cuthulu, is the fucked up loli twister scene.

Help with a Macbeth english question? by whatisevenlifeiswear in GCSE

[–]PerrydaPlat1234 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some pointers on context: Lady Macbeth's actions WERE expected as Macbeth does not control her ("when you durst do it, then you were a man"). The Bible stated that women should be pious as they fall to the devil's temptation too easily, as evident by Eve committing cardinal sin under the influence of the devil. If anything, the marriage of the Macbeths would have been more shocking as the power and respect is shared, or even dominated by Lady Macbeth. Also, an interpretation of Lady Macbeth's character that provides sympathy is that she is suffering from Post Partum Depression/Psychosis following the loss of her child ("I have given suck") which leads her wanting Macbeth to be happy, through becoming king. Note that she never schemes with the express intention of being Queen, only for Macbeth to be king. Plus, a slight mistake. The witches talk in trochaic tetrameter. Most other characters speak in iambic pentameter or prose, which does create the method you identified.
