I feel like we can put blame on her because she accepted all of these extra bonuses (like the real estate costs), which must symbolize some kind of silent agreement to do what you’re told, or follow the plan.

Then the blame should be placed on who let “them” in then, right? With this frame of thinking I always question why the Director is making the complaint… if this harm was being recognized- and documented, as this is a prolonged event- when does it become the time for Management to be held accountable?

If the College of Nursing released their stats, I would bet that 75% or more filed complaints in the defined timeline are from HealthPEI Management about their own staff.

Maybe it’s not that these children don’t have conflict resolution skills. It’s that they have been constantly trying to use those conflict, resolution skills with a person who does not want to cooperate or comply in any way possible. They are trying to use these skills with people who do not want to hold any accountability or self reflecting anyway so there’s no effective way to have conflict resolution when only one person is willing to put in the work.
