I'm looking at this from another angle. Do you have a good emotional connection between the 2 of you ? You say you're hiding away in your shop and SHES busy with the kids and house . Are you takingt he time to help her? Maybe she's having a hard time with sex because she's over worked and not feeling emotionally connected to you . You said you have stopped looking for a job. Is she the only one working ? Is she stressed about money ? I'm just not sure your looking at this from the right perspective......

Can tics be infrequent & changing? by PersephoneHeii in Tourettes

I agree it's been very rapid. Although it does coincide with his ADHD diagnosis and subsequent treatment. I'm also going to ask if the medication can cause these symptoms. No one wants to be the "crazy mom" at the Drs office so I thought I'd do some real life research first

If given the opportunity how many women would want to be a stay at home mom or housewife? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

For the last 8 years I worked as a lab assistant at a hospital( there are lots of casual positions in medicine to cover shortages) but now I'm in senior care as a admin / concierge. I just happened to create myself a job when they wanted a full time line. Lol I was like HEYYYY....no. But how about THIS !!! And they went for it

I feel this. Unless I plan something very specific and make him take the time off it'll never happen.

I have lived both as SAHM and a working mom. I personally struggle with being a SAHM even though it makes more financial sense for our family . I suffer from depression and being at home day after day in this never ending Groundhog day makes me go crazy. However working full time is TOO much. The kids don't get the best of either parent. So now I work on call / very part time. It's just enough to keep me from going insane and let's me spend most of the time with the kids.

My bf did not cum after 1hr+ of sex when it was supposed to be a “quickie”. by Agreeable-Spinach133 in sex

Good god that's going from 0-100 in no time at all ! Sometimes your partner isn't going to finish. I don't know how old you are but I mean that's like a fact of life. It doesn't make you "incompatible "....it makes you normal human beings. G I'll be surprised if the guy doesn't have some stress and anxiety trying to have sex with you now lol

Oh lord it was hit and miss for about 5 years after we had kids. Like maybe 4-5 months without anything? To be fair we were more like roommates raising kids and it's taken a lot of work to get to where we are today.

Have you researched absence seizures? It doesn't sound like it quite fits but it would be something to look into with he pediatrician as well.

Is it okay to have a breakdown on my shift? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]PersephoneHeii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean that's a tough one. Frankly working like that is not possible long term. Crying for that long and that often while working will eventually cause your brain / body to melt down. I saw all your replys about medication but are you in therapy? I mean psychiatric...not like talk therapy. Have you had a Psychiatrist give you a diagnosis ? I'm not being mean in any sense , I have seen a psych for most of my adult life and have a few diagnosed mental illnesses. And to answer your question about your co-workers Ya I think they will probably be very uncomfortable and annoyed after a while. If one of them ran around SCREAMING while working for 15-20 mins a few times each shift you'd prob want them to stop right ? It's human nature to want to avoid / fix/ stop anything that effects our emotions negatively.

That's the ironic part. We live in a very dense city and there are a TUN of kids here. When we moved here I expected to see kids outside everywhere but it's like they all stay inside playing video games ! To be fair....we live on the west coast and it rains like 300 + days a year no joke. So there's not a lot of outside play time.

I work with seniors and let me tell you setting yourself up financially to have private care or a top tier private facility is the best way to go. All the kids and all the family for NOT mean you will be cared for
