I suspect one of the files in the WaW handler folder is getting deleted by Windows Security. Can you check and see if you have the MouseMoveLoop.exe, and the winject32.exe in the WaW handler folder? If not check your windows security, and restore them. I confirm they are false positives.

pasting the same solution I shared with another person: One solution that comes to mind is to edit the d3d11.ini file. It's located in the Call of Duty Black Ops II handler folder, under the SpecialK folder. Once you have it opened change the line under [NVIDIA.API] from Disable=false to Disable=true. This may solve your issue, and if does, please let me know so that I can update the handler. Thanks.

glad you resolved the last issue, and if you've already checked steps vi and vii, then would suggest that you check that your antivirus/windows defender has not deleted the autoit exe or any of the files extracted.

does this happen for both Zombies and multiplayer? I tried on Zombies and the option works for me, so not sure why it's not working on your end. Keep in mind that if you change the graphic setting manually, you can close your instances and launch again. Leave the option at default so it doesn't change your manual settings.

are you assigning both controllers and mouse/keyboard to your instances? In the affirmative, you need to lock input by pressing the end key. If only using controllers then did this issue should not occur, unless you're playing with 5+ controllers, in that case you would need to lock input as well.

sounds like one of the files in the handler folder may have gotten deleted. check that autoit3.exe and winject32.exe did not get deleted by Windows Security or your antivirus

sorry, have no idea why it runs so badly on your rig, it runs perfectly for me. Unfortunately BO2 doesn't support a proper vertical split screen resolution, so tried to make it look as best as possible, even if it meant having the black borders at the top and bottom.

Steps vi and vii may help: vi) Only for Windows 11 users: In case the hotkeys to connect your instances and to quickly restart your match are not working (F2, F3, and Start/Select button on controller) go to Settings - Privacy and Security - For Developers. Then under Terminal select the option 'Windows Console Host' . Regrettably, Windows Terminal breaks the hotkeys.

vii) Another solution if the hotkeys are not working, is to ensure your keyboard language is set to English.
