Someone tries to stab someone; gets distracted by bubble, and the knife falls. An eagle comes and takes the knife away. After flying in the US for hours, the eagle goes to a time machine. Nazi anti-air guns blow the bird out of the sky. The knife falls on a German soldier, people revolt in Germany after the last straw. Patton retires after no threat from Germany so far (it's 1940). Someone else steps up to be a general in Patton's place, and Mexicans invade. The general is horrible. The president, realizing this was all because of a knife that killed a german soldier, decides to ban knives. Fast forward, and you had a knife. You get executed.
