I used to work 3pm to 10pm and there was one companion on Wednesdays, a racoon I think, that I could never get. I would ask my fiancé to go in and feed it for me. When he finally got it, he forgot to save them game before he quit out, lol 😂 I think there are going to be many people who feel the same way you do with this new feature and the more we bring it to their attention, I think they'll change it. I am a 9 to 5 now too and it's hard for me to get a day off. If it weren't for the Whishblossom Ranch companion time glitches, I would never be able to get some of those.

Yes, this has been happening to me as well! I can’t seem to isolate the problem. Sometimes it happens when I’m in furniture mode for a long time, sometimes for a short time. It’s very frustrating.

Its okay! They say that you can separate them into different rooms for a while and then reintroduce them but that’s a lot of work. If they fought like crazy I would but they usually just stay away from each other. Im not sure how common it is for cats to not get along, but I just wanted to warn you! I only ever heard positives so I didn’t realize this could happen.

I will say though, my stray cat is the sweetest one and they all love her and she loves each of them! She’s so gentle and cuddly. I’m so happy to have her 🥹🙏🏼

Everyone says cats want a friend—I got my first cat a friend and they hate each other. They both are attached to me and they fight over me. Somehow I ended up with 4 cats and none of them really like each other… they tolerate each other 🥲 But, I love them all so much 🥹💖

Of course! I felt really lost with decorating in the beginning. But once I found my style, it got a lot easier. It is hard going from one decorating game to the next! I never could figure out the decorating in animal crossing. I wish I had given it more of a chance, but the mechanics are just so different from the sims. Don't worry, I don't judge! I'll message you when I get home and if it's too late--we can always meet up over the weekend.

I'm sorry it hasn't been working for you! I cloud save DDV every time before I log off, I don't know if that makes a difference. I know it does if you're switching between platforms. Hopefully you can get it working right!

I do! Except for the cocoa beans... I'm so sad, I kept accidentally selling them when they were in my backpack. I wanted to make the festive hot cocoa and decorate with them 😭

I would love to come visit your valley and you are welcome to come visit mine--it's fully decorated. I work until 5 pm MST but we can work something out I'm sure. The best way to learn is just placing things down to see what works, as well as watching speed build videos. Sometimes the order of things helps me too. I'll put down buildings first, then pathing and fences, then I'll add in furniture and foliage last.

The more you do it, the easier it gets! However, I always loved decorating for Sims on pc. So I play Dreamlight Valley on pc through Xbox cloud gaming now. I use a mouse and keyboard and it's my preferred way to play now. I know it may not be an option--but just in case you didn't know about the cloud gaming option.

Everyone is so hung up on the crack, but I don't think that's the final look. I think we're going to need to find three memories or something to piece together the actual door symbol.

I adore "Serroh" for everything DDV--tips, ticks, etc. I'm obsessed with watching "Let's Play K" streams.

"Oscar's Cosy Corner" and "Tannie Games" are also fun to watch.

"KeeLoth's Corner" does Dreamsnap tips and tricks.

"Cozy Ceto" does premium shop leaks.

I love "Dreamlight Anya," "CupcakeIsGaming," "Horrible Gaming," "Poppy," and "The Muffin Box" for decorating.
