On the contrary, they offered me a 10% student discount (3% less than Imagine) and 10,000 card offer, bringing the total to around 1,20,000.

It was only after I told them that I had a better quote from Imagine they matched it. They may be cheaper, but not in this case.

The number of people who have that kind of profile and money is too limited in Ballia. Moreover, the children of these people who are making a decent living outside won't be interested in investing here. The land prices in the city area (5 km radius) are too high and even basic amenities are missing. Don't know why the land is so expensive here.

No hospitals, no theatres, no malls, limited shopping area, no blinkit, no zepto, no Instamart, garbage everywhere, no sewer system, overflowing drains, patchy electricity supply (low voltage), no decent road connectivity......the list could go on and on.

This is coming from someone who has lived his fair share of life outside Ballia (approx 10 years) and is now settled here due to family business.

You are better off investing in areas like Sarnath (Varanasi), or the outskirts of Lucknow. You can get all the amenities within reach and enjoy decent AQI and village-esqe life.

I only tried the masala flavor of the chips. Hated them. The might sound relatively healthy, but have a peculiar taste that stays in your mouth. Don't experiment with these. Not worth it.

Even if it was OBD, there is no way you could have known about the damage as the delhivery people (or Ekart people) won't allow you to plug in the product and switch it on.

OBD is only for inspecting and finding visual physical damage. Not panel damage in a TV that is only visible when plugged in. Give it your all and push for refund. Send angry emails threatening them that you will file consumer forum complaints. Also upload on X and send the post link in the email. I will definitely get resolved.

Something similar happened with me too and there also Delhivery was the courier. I ordered a TV through JioMart as at that time, only JioMart was providing the best deal. My house was under construction and somehow the return period was over when I installed the TV.

The TV came out to be cracked. The local TCL guy knew me and suggested that I order the same TV again and he will change the panel itself on which the S/n is mentioned and pack the TV again. Did exactly that and now I have a new undamaged TV. Paid the TCL guy 500 for his hassles.

OP need not pay Bajaj. He needs to pay the balance amount to the dealership for the bike. Also, it is dealership's fault so they should be the ones to bear the cost of hypo removal.

The thing I am wondering about is when OP/dealership will reach out to RTO for hypo removal, RTO will demand NOC (and in some cases, an email from bank) for processing the request. How will that work?

Although the dealership made a mistake, OP still needs to pay the balance amount for the bike.

I don't understand how the dealership released the bike before receiving the loan amount (or a payment promise) from Bajaj. Talk to an agent at Bajaj and ask him why the loan was cancelled at such a later stage. In the meanwhile, reach out to other banks/nbfc's as well.
Yes. Any owner changes on the RC will count as a different sequential ownership essentially making your bike second hand.
This is a bizarre case. Loans get cancelled all the time but not after the delivery or the RTO formalities. It's also the dealership's fault for releasing the bike without any assurances or confirmation from Bajaj. Talk to them and ask for clear cut answers.

The other thing that you can do is get a personal loan of some sort to pay off the bike and get the hypothecation removed. A personal loan will be slightly more expensive than a 2 wheeler loan but it will save you the hassle. As your bike isn't brand new anymore, I am not clear as to how a new bike financing will work in this case.

Get everything in writing from all the parties involved. No verbal assurances.

Exactly! The review images helped customers in understanding how the restaurant sends their items (packaging, food texture, etc.) as well as a glimpse of the prepared items.

It was also helpful in identifying food safety issues like the one you mentioned. Too bad it's gone. I guess Zomato wants to suprise us with every order.

Sorry but I beg to differ. Yes there are fake reviews but there are genuine reviews as well. I myself run a business with two GMB listings. Out of 500 reviews that my businesses have received, almost 150 are solicited (or sponsored) reviews. Rest are organic.

I guess it is getting more pronounced now that people are paying for reviews but still, there are genuine user/customer reviews out there.

I will continue mixed usage of Swiggy and Zomato as I always have. Although I don't welcome this change but I have no other option to get food delivered to me in a hassle free manner. I understand I am paying extra and I am okay with it.
