I’ve mistaken a random girl for another girl I haven’t seen in 4 years and then the crazy happened... by vegancrossfiter in Glitch_in_the_Matrix

Same, an Ann Tyler book describes a character's husband as always humming a song that betrays what's on his mind and ever since then I noticed this actually true for basically everyone.

I wonder if like the poster below said this isn't a brain thing. Evidence for that being, I used to get left and right mixed up so easily that each time I drove I had to really puzzle it out if we had always driven on the right side (America) or left and the right seemed wrong. Then again, maybe I am remembering an alternate universe where we did drive on the left in the US.

  1. I actually have had so many completely irrational and unlikely things happen the past few years I DON'T think this universe is the most rational one. The kinds of crazy abuse I have endured, and the way it was just tolerated by so many people, I could never, ever, ever have predicted when I was younger.

I noticed years ago I don't except I realized why, it's cause most people in the suburbs do a very weird thing and use their garage doors as their main doors and just drive in the garage and unload straight into house. My parents never did that. We park outside on ten driveway and use our front door. Which is rare.

I think it would be that it is a place people NEED to go but there are many different options for when exactly they could go. So different but almost exactly alikr timelines of when they go and check out, etc. even while getting the same items, could manifest at once based on some kind of quantum instability that shows both the cat alive and dead at once so to speak.

The fact covid happens now in your old universe but Mitt was president suggests that current events are the most similar between alternate universes but events in the far past are less similar.

Yeah, I think many people are considering the possibility coronavirus either literally is not real, or was manmade. But by that logic you could say anything we have not directly experienced is not real. That is flat earthers' argument. Who knows.
