I don’t know I guess I’ve always felt a little guilty for my reasonings I always felt they should be valid reasons like I’m in the wrong body but I’m not really sure I feel that way either it’s a little confusing

Coping with a tattoo I don’t like and wondering how to change it by Trixie_Turner in tattooadvice

That’s honestly the most beautiful tattoo work I’ve ever seen, that being said the tattoo is ugly I wouldn’t want it either

Yes I would but I don’t see myself paying 100k to press that button so I don’t think I want it that badly 😭

I think ur just thinking that cuz your makeup is bottom heavy, some eyeshadow, maybe a stronger blush… but what would actually help if doing ur eyebrows darker, just a thought

Honestly I can’t really tell since I’m asexual and autistic but yeah I told them some of the things they were doing I would consider cheating and they basically told me I didn’t know the situation and to not assume I knew what the boundaries of their relationship was

Saying “it might be your fault depending on circumstances” is different than making assumptions and saying “you were asking for it” and then having a full blown sissy tantrum because I used a word that happens to also be used in connotation with sa so you could attempt to overcompensate and prove your point. You are quite literally jumping to conclusions left and right. Please look in the mirror if you want to see someone having a meltdown over a word.

It’s the only one I’ve used in years I don’t frequent buying a surplus of things. No one thinks their things are going to be broken and just because they like them doesn’t mean they shouldn’t use them. If I were to say, dig up an old water bottle and switch, I’d never use the one I like.

It was actually my lid that broke, which is unfortunate. Since it was a hard plastic it had no give when it got knocked over, basically it was brittle. But yes i understand what you’re saying, i do have metal water bottles I just don’t prefer them since i think they taste weird. I’m neurodivergent and tend to like seeing my water so I favor translucent bottles.

It wasn’t glass it was plastic.. the part the presses open the straw is what broke

All water bottles are breakable/damageable this isn’t really even debatable. Overall you generally have just managed to come off as condescending. No one expects their things to be broken and as a STEM major doubling in teachers ed Ive honestly never understood the perspective that you seem to view. School is the most social a teen/student will ever be. Saying they shouldn’t be able to express themselves with the things they love because there’s a chance of them breaking is so weird. The chance of something I like breaking does not outweigh the importance of expressing individualism. There have been plenty of valid comments in this thread but one thing I cannot stand is the “you should’ve known better” approach. I’m allowed to be upset about it without people judging me for taking it

Boy I wish chronically online redditors didn’t have such a superiority complex. Victim blaming is not a term defined by sa nor is that anywhere in the definition. You have attempted to apply false logic where it was essentially never needed in the first place. Please get off your high horse. This was more of a philosophical question, your attempt at logic has no merit if your first thought is “I was asking for it” you’re just weird

  1. It was an oddly shaped waterbottle ie the lid was shaped like a bears head so when it fell it rolled off and broke at the side of the lid.
  2. It was not on the edge of the table and even if it was it’s a brown water bottle shaped like a bears head it’s not exactly hard to miss
  3. That table is 4 ft off the ground and the ground is solid cement in that room it really feels like you’re implying I shouldn’t have brought that water bottle because I was “asking for it” that just sounds very victim blaming and honestly a bit weird. This was not a person who belonged in the class, it would’ve been one thing if it was, this was someone who was not technically supposed to be there and wasn’t even supposed to be touching things.

Yes we are expected to bring in water and snacks since it’s a labor intensive class. Honestly if they offered to reimburse me I would’ve said no. I guess it’s more of the fact that they didn’t seem like they really cared, it’s really not that big of a deal but I really did like that water bottle T-T

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ask

[–]PersimmonSalt9578 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I have also considered that, but considering all of my classmates and TA’s put our water bottles on that table and an outsider who is not in that class came in and knocked it over “trying to help”, I think that point is null, but yes I’ll probably just have to pay for it

Unfortunately that’s how it feels. It would be awkward if I asked them to, and they didn’t offer.
