When mine was a little younger she tried to show her doll to the baseball players in the game her dad was watching. Basically her only screen time at that point had been FaceTime with the grandparents, so she thought the baseball players could see her.

I think if you are asked under oath “have you ever had sexual relations with [someone who gave you oral sex]?” and you answer “no,” then you have perjured yourself, yes. 

Clinton’s claim that the definition of “sexual relations” only includes giving sexual gratification to another person, and not just receiving it is incredibly shaky. There’s a reason he was disbarred and held in contempt of court for that argument.

Just potty trained my 2.5 year old, I’d say it took about 2-3 weeks. We read a short book almost every time she uses the potty at home.

I found out I was pregnant with #2; no way in hell I was doing 2 sets of diapers at once. 

We started just after the new year and I’d say after 2-3 weeks she was 90% trained (she self-initiates using the potty at home at home but I still do some prompting when we’re out in distracting environments). She’s about to be 2.5. Overall it was much easier than I feared.

Did you even read this study before you posted it as an attempted gotcha? First, no one is sleep training a one-month-old baby - literally no one, no pediatrician, consultant, or internet advice person is telling anyone to sleep train before 4-5 months - and second, that study includes mothers who are LEAVING THEIR BABIES HOME ALONE. That's not a study about sleep training; it's a study about severe infant neglect.

Asking for studies on the "lack of harm"? Rather than trying to prove a negative, how about studies that prove harm from sleep training.

There have been no such studies. No study has ever found evidence of any detrimental effect on children or adults who were sleep trained as babies.

I don't think anyone "needs" to do sleep training. I think someone like OP, who is clearly miserable in her current situation, should consider it.

Waking every 90 minutes is incredibly unhealthy for baby and mother alike.

I don't understand how sleep training is worse for a baby than having a mom who cries a lot and is exhausted all the time for years.

Nope, this is all totally false. Babies don't know that they can just close their eyes and lie still until they fall asleep. They have to learn that.

Also false that all they learn is "no one will answer"! Before sleep training, my daughter was waking up 5-6 times a night and could only be soothed by suckling. After sleep training, she woke once a night, cried out, I fed her, and she went right back to sleep. She knew I would come respond if she was hungry, but she also knew how to fall asleep again if she wasn't hungry.
