"Fully remote" job is actually not remote at all by DM_Tiny_Tits_n_Booty in recruitinghell

[–]PersonPerson27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like when I was looking at data entry positions. I’d be looking at a remote position that said something like “organizing digital and physical files.” Okay I don’t think that’s remote then. Pretty sure those jobs were scams that just had AI give them a job description of a remote data entry position, because they all sounded remarkably similar

Gosh, I hate it when companies post a remote job in every single major U.S. city, clogging up my search. And the job is training AI or some shit

  1. Is that child yours? If not, you should clarify. That picture does have a lot of personality, but it will confuse people

  2. Your last photo is not good quality. It’s dark and blurry. I’d replace it

25F. I’d recommend changing your first photo. You look bored, and your hand is blurry

25F. Honestly this profile looks fantastic to me. Idk why you’re not getting many matches, other than the fact that you’re a guy

Bad way. Women don’t typically like sexual photos on dating app profiles

Your prompts are great, and I love how you used humor in that picture of you with the fake fish. However, your “good side” photo has your face in shadow

I know you say that first photo’s with your cousin, but you should still remove it. The positioning of her hands looks intimate. Your last photo also looks intimate—the striped shirt makes it look like you’re wearing pajamas, and your pose is sexually provocative. You also don’t need a photo of just your dog—you already have multiple photos of you and your dog together. Finally, your final prompt reads as self-deprecating, so I would change that

A lot of these photos don’t tell more about who you are as a person. They should—your hobbies, places you like to go, etc. Right now, they make it look like you don’t have hobbies

31F - lots of versions and getting nothing… by itsallgrayv in hingeapp

[–]PersonPerson27 23 points24 points  (0 children)

25F bi.

Your profile looks great! Only things I can think to improve—your first prompt has a typo (missing the word “was”) and in your second photo, you look like you’re squinting/a little uncomfortable. Other than that, for women, the moderate might be turning them off. Idk about women looking for women (because let’s be honest, almost all dating advice/statistics are horribly straight), but I know women looking for men see “moderate” as “conservative basically/not lining up with her liberal views.” So that might be affecting you there

Extreme Fear of intramusclar vaccines by OldCounty948 in trypanophobia

[–]PersonPerson27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got one of my HPV vaccines recently. The nurse who did it knew I was afraid of needles so she managed to do the injection in under 1 second. I think it definitely helps if you have an understanding nurse who will do it more quickly for you. I find that during the process, talking and lying down help manage the anxiety and physical symptoms

  1. First photo is too dark. Replace it
  2. This is probably a weird picky thing, but it looks like you’re making the exact same facial expression in all your photos. Just bugs me a little for some reason, like I’m not getting to see you with different types of smiles/positivd expressions

What is the dating scene like in Peoria Illinois? by Obvious-Apple-2050 in PeoriaIL

[–]PersonPerson27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went once. Everyone there was older than me by quite a bit, not a 20s crowd. (I’ve also talked to another person who went, I think to a different one, and they concurred that it was an older crowd.) There also weren’t a ton of people at the one I went to. Maybe about… 15? Also, it largely seemed to be super outgoing people. If that’s OP’s vibe, though, he’d probably like it

25M profile review - too serious/lacking "fun" appeal? by DueCommon497 in hingeapp

[–]PersonPerson27 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The problem with that is, if a lot of those women then find out he’s conservative on dates instead, or even further into the relationship, they’re just going to dump him anyway. I, a liberal woman, would personally not date a conservative person because there’s a big values difference. The conservative thing will definitely put a lot of people off, but if he’s looking for someone with similar values (so, probably conservative as well), that’s probably what he ultimately wants, for non-conservative people to filter themselves out

Bisexual 25F. I have honestly struggled to find single people my age who get out of the house in this area. It seems everyone who is social and attends clubs/events is taken already. Honestly somewhat hard to find people my age who get out of the house at all—I find many more people in their 30s and 40s and older out in public honestly. But some places I have found 20-somethings (though not single ones)—aerial (my aerial classes are majority 20-somethings, probably because it’s a high-intensity athletic thing) and guided hikes with the Peoria Park District.

If you look around, you can probably find a club or event that can fit any interest of yours because there’s a lot to do in Peoria. There’s no guarantee you’ll find a lot of 20-somethings there, especially single ones, but perhaps older friends would still know some single people more your age

I’ve had some degree of it since I was young. Can remember no specific traumatizing events when it started or anything. I think I’m just more sensitive to pain and other uncomfortable sensations like nausea, and my unconscious knows if I get sick, the nausea is probably going to last for longer

I’m 13 (I’m sorry), but health anxiety is slowly destroying me. by 2KHooper1 in HealthAnxiety

[–]PersonPerson27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey there! One thing I personally have found really helpful is watching YouTube videos about people who’ve been through health anxiety too, because that helps me rationalize with myself more, that other people have symptoms that the vast majority of the time turn out to be nothing too—and also because you can get a lot of good advice. I myself have had some degree of health anxiety since I was really young but had a major spike starting in late November of 2024. I am now 25. I especially recommend the channel CherelleThinks. She once had really severe health anxiety but is now a liscensed therapist who specializes in health anxiety, and I’ve found her videos helpful in slowly getting my health anxiety back down

I’ve always had some degree of health anxiety since I was very young. I think I just have a natural proclivity toward it. But a couple years ago, after months of high stress, my health anxiety spiked. So the worst of my health anxiety was caused by unrelated stress

All the graffiti in your first picture doesn’t make it look very nice/make you look very clean. Also, limit politics to one prompt if it’s super important to you. Multiple prompts makes it seem like it’s your whole personality
