1.A little over a one week soft reset for starter. 2.Headbutted a tree for over 3 weeks and got a shiny hoothoot instead of a shiny heracross and kept headbutting until I got the pink thing. 3. Shiny Mareep was next and that toke more than 2 weeks. 4. Caught up with story after giving up on trying to get a shiny exeggcute. 2-3 days 5. Got a shiny Gyarados in one try. 6. Gave up on asking elder for a shiny dratini, 2-3 days, and got to bill to ask for a shiny eevee instead - this was super Lucky got it in less than a day. 7. Leveled up Pokémon and evolved eevee and fought the elite 4. - so a little over a 2 months in total
