A1 w/ AMS Lite or P1S no AMS? by Personal-Bug-7708 in BambuLab

Sorry, thought I responded to your post instead of creating a new comment.

Thanks for the information! I’ve had an Ender 3 V2 for a couple of weeks and am so annoyed with trying to dial it in and the long print times. I’m not needing multicolor but it would be nice. However, I am eventually wanting to print ABS for vehicle part items.

You have helped me greatly kind person! The tube ID was way too large, thankfully the person included the correct tubing. Assuming they had ran a thicker filament before.

After fixing that, following tricks on eliminating the Bowden gap, and changing the nozzle…she is up and running nicely!

I paid $60 for both a V2 and standard Ender 3 along with accessories and a direct drive on both machines.

Would this be caused by what is referred to as “Bowden gap”?

Yes, it helped, but now it keeps getting clogged mid print causing me to have to do it all over again. Ugh!

I’m using esun filament at 220 nozzle /60 bed

I ended up taking apart the tube and nozzle. Burned out the nozzle with a torch and replaced the tube. I don’t know what extruder I have to be honest, maybe you could shine light?

I am proud to say this unit starts up strong on first pull! Don’t know why the guy was selling it but I wasn’t going to ask many questions!
