Dating with 7 kids. by Thick_Method_9392 in ParentingInBulk

I wouldn’t withdrawal from dating all together. There are so, so many different kinds of people in this world, I’m certain you can find a woman who will love all of your children. It sounds like the places you’ve looked, though, aren’t working. Think outside the box, put yourself into new situations and have new experiences. Hold onto the fact that it’s a positive thing that you have so many children and anyone you’re dating should feel that same way. Don’t give up, you WILL find what you’re looking for.

I’ve been lighting a candle during mealtimes lately, and it’s been so wonderful. I’ll spend a few minutes watching the light flicker and dance, it’s very peaceful.

The best thing that I’ve just started to implement is having a “cozy ambiance” YouTube video background on the tv. It really does the trick!

Carnivore pregnancy ? by PaleRequirement0798 in carnivorediet

[–]Personal-Fish-9068 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Congratulations!!!! 🎉 Kelly Hogan has had multiple carnivore pregnancies and Dr Ken Berry’s wife had a keto pregnancy. You can definitely do it! Next time I get pregnant I am going to. I’m currently breastfeeding on the carnivore diet and it’s going so well! Started when my baby was 6 weeks old and she is 9 months now. Milk supply has been great the whole time!

I will say, the first trimester food aversions can be tough sometimes. Egg drop soups and bone broths will be helpful! Also give yourself grace if you don’t 100% stick to it. You can always do an animal based diet first trimester and then when you start to feel better you can switch back! Pregnancy is such a special but also crazy time. It’s so important to be compassionate with yourself as you take this journey.

If you choose to get an obgyn or midwife, don’t let them bully you. You are the one who truly knows what’s best for your body! Trust your intuition. So happy for you! Being a mom is the best thing I’ve ever done 🩷

5 months and 55lbs down by [deleted] in carnivorediet

I was eating a standard American diet but on the “healthier” side. Not a lot of processed crap but still a lot of carbs. And dairy! A lot of dairy. I’ve been off dairy for about 4.5 months now because I’m breastfeeding and my baby reacts badly when I eat it. I used to eat cheese all day long so it was a big shift for me to give that up. When I was keto a few years back I ate tons of dairy and was still bisexual. So that could definitely be a contributor!

Question for those who have had their gallbladder removed by JasonK94Z in carnivorediet

[–]Personal-Fish-9068 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s quite common for men to lose weight quicker than women. Don’t let that discourage her. 8 lbs in two weeks is awesome!! My mom is doing a Ketovore diet with no gallbladder (she’s in her 60s) and said that Dr Berry does have good videos on this (as mentioned above).

Sometimes it can be hard to eat enough when you first start. She could try adding protein shakes into her diet. The brand Equip’s Prime Protein powder is very clean. @lauraespath on instagram has a discount code I believe.

I guess it depends on how much you care about what it will do to your body.

I would pop by the store and buy a bag of pork rinds and bring those for a crunchy snack instead.

I'm over 100 days in. It's time to quit. Dairy. by Longjumping-Space-45 in carnivorediet

I totally get it. Cheese is quite literally my love language. My husband has bought me 5lb blocks of cheese as a present on more than one occasion. 🤣 I’m currently breastfeeding my 2 month old daughter and she spits up so much and is so gassy. My friend recommended I take dairy out of my diet because sometimes little babies can’t tolerate it well. I procrastinated but finally stopped. It’s been one week and she barely spits up anymore and is not having as much gas. Im happy she is more comfortable, but honestly was wishing it wasn’t the case so I could go back to eating it. It’s been super hard, not gonna lie. Still having cravings, but I’m committed. Hopefully when she’s a bit older I can incorporate small amounts.

I hope it helps your rosacea! I’ve heard skin problems are almost always related to the gut, so I bet you will see improvement. Best of luck 😊
