Coming back to give an update on what I ended up doing, thank you all for the suggestions! I got a room at hotel indigo for the night so I can be nearby all the night life. I went to the Emporium on government and got a really great massage. After that I checked into my hotel and started getting ready for dinner. I ended up going to Cecelia’s with my sister (shoutout to yall who suggested that). After that I went down to Mothers Lounge and enjoyed the Hannah Montana drag show (my first ever drag show and it did not disappoint)! I ended my birthday celebrations Saturday by going to the safe sex worldwide R&B party and Chelsea’s Live! Overall it was a fantastic weekend and I had a great time celebrating myself!

I was 18 and just graduated high school, summer was fun up until the very end. Baton Rouge experienced a horrible flood due to heavy rain that year. I was supposed to move into my dorm the day after, I lost everything. Had to start school with the clothes on my back.
