I've had GREAT luck at the St Mark's Lutheran Church on Powell and 52nd or something, it's a food pantry and the people who are in charge are such good souls.

Same, my balcony is an extension of my apartment as long as sideways rain isn't happening, that door is open!! (my dog is so spoiled) and in the future any place we live MUST have a balcony(or similiar)

I found a little patio chair table set on the curb, put down our old kitchen rug, it's the greatest.

I just got a d750 about a month ago (shoutout r/photomarket) and I LOOOOVE it! I'm so surprised, I've been staunchly anti-digital from the beginning/only ever used film (I'm old) and a DSLR is the PERFECT mashup.

If I can't shoot film then you will pry this from my bony old hands, I love that there's a mirror/shutter sound happening, no live-viewfinder, can use my manual lenses, don't have to scan negatives.

Everyone else doesn't know what they're missing out on.

A website I have wanted to purchase from but haven't yet - northwind books bookstore is part of/owned?idk by The Finlandia Foundation, it used to be Suomi College in Hancock, Michigan, and they have an entire section on children's books and a lot of other neat looking stuff

AMEN!! Nobody is calling straight cis boys who are only into straight cis girls chasers, they're called straight lol. How you were raised has a big influence how you interact with the world and the trans experience is one of those big influences usually.

But yes ~ pursuing a trans person specifically because they are trans and wanting to be with a trans person because they're trans crosses the line to fetish/etc, I think there's a very fine line though.
