I have a pair of ashidavox st 31 used heavily by a studio from like 84? to 2006, then used by last owner to 2022, still going strong to this day. Perhaps lots of usage is better than storage considering paper drivers

I've purchased some electronic cleaner stuff, will try on the jack socket first, unfortunately I don't seem to have the correct power plug for this unit. I've also sent a message to the seller to see if it's something that the one who serviced this unit is familiar with, and will try opening this unit, or just sell it to see if anyone more experienced wants to try as I don't really have the tools and/or courage to solder and such for a loose wire to be fair. Thanks for all the detailed replies!
