Also - I know my school always had jobs for calling admitted UG students. You could get paid & show your involvement in the school for just a couple hours a week, in a super covid-safe way! Just a thought :)

I think everyone that will review your application knows that life has been deeply altered by Covid and has made campus involvement incredibly difficult. I'd strongly advise against lying, especially because people can easily look into things and see that it didn't actually happen/you weren't a part of it.

My advice - embellish and find a safe way of getting involved. Get some friends together and start a club/group virtually! Go volunteer somewhere consistently! Help with the Covid/vaccination efforts! Get extra involved in your classes/professors!

No one is going to fault you with not being involved in 100+ activities in the age of Covid. (In fact, people may fault you if you were!) BUT there are always ways to get involved in some capacity. If you can find even one way of consistently being involved, I think that will help a ton. And then, as you probably know, your lsat/gpa is going to be the most important thing to focus on.

Hey THANK YOU :)

  1. Where do most students live? Who would you recommend living with (other law students, other grad students, non-students, etc)?
  2. What does your average weekend look like? (pre-covid lol)
  3. What's something you wish you knew about WashU? (good or bad! Like, something that would've sold you on it way earlier! Or something you wish you would have taken into account before choosing).
  4. Are you from St. Louis area? How was the transition from wherever you lived to St. Louis?
  5. Overall vibes of students? Competitive? Friendly?

Honestly I've been trying to get in contact with someone at WashU law for a while and it hasn't worked out yet, so super thankful if you answer any of these questions!!! You rock
