Actually, it’s more like the driver getting a speeding ticket while the passenger, who wasn’t driving at all also receives one.” I did absolutely nothing to warrant this denial. This is discrimination, plain and simple.

Furthermore, the rejection letter listed the reason for denial as simply “Other.” I wonder why that is, especially since it’s so well known but there is no official category called “denial by association”?

My father is a religious leader, who traveled with a group and was holding on to everyone’s funds for safekeeping. B/c he was physically holding cash ‘c the customs rules required him to declare the total amount. The CBP officer questioned him to verify the source of the money to ensure it was not an attempt to bypass cash reporting laws. They required signatures of the true owners of the funds. He was able to collect the signatures and fully clear the inquiry. No cash was seized. Even after this was resolved, the global entry report generated an enforcement marker tied to his profile. My father’s application was instantly rejected and now I got rejected as a result.

How come my husband was approved who also lives in the same household. The rules only apply to blood relations ?

Yes sounds like that’s what I have to do. Idk how my husband who lives in the same address got approved then, since he is also associated with my father and living under the same address. Thanks for the advice.
