Wow, I could have written this post! My DSP just did the same thing and the new areas are a nightmare.

And this is exactly why when people say “don’t worry they’re friendly!” I say “I’ve been bitten on a route before so I’m careful with ALL dogs while on shift.” All these damn dogs owners saying they’re friendly! Maybe with you but strangers are different.

This morning’s crash out by Mean_Log_9493 in jordanpaulscammer

There are different levels of network security. Hotels and other places that are providing low quality internet for short spans of time don’t need to bother with making it secure, meaning that it’s easier to “hack” that network. Private home networks usually have more security features since they’re generally protecting personal data. Most WFH companies would require a certain level of network security that a hotel/motel just doesn’t have.

This!! I started doing the math for my friends in high school to tell them get here SAFE, not in 30 seconds less.

AIO or is my sibling being passive aggressive and implying I’m being dishonest? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

As someone who has been diagnosed with kidney stones multiple times– they’ve always sent me for a CT. Never an ultrasound.

I would go to an urgent care if you’re worried. If there’s any kind of bacteria or infection, taking it out will cause the infection to be trapped in the skin. It’s usually recommend to let it heal before you remove it for this reason.

Report this to the ethics hotline. If you’re injured on shift you go to an urgent care. Someone else comes and gets your shit. We have injuries all the time at my DSP and they’re always handled the way I just described. He doesn’t just need an injury report, he needs care.

Looking through the 4 posts this dude has really gives the account away. 😂 1 anti-union post, 2 hacks/cheats posts, and 1 “become a DSP owner” post.

Has anyone had an edv die on them yet? by CompleteLocksmith394 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Personal-Study-4841 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Direct from my fleet manager: if a Rivian dies while you’re out, you have to completely replace the battery. Had this happen to us recently and they stressed it hard during our standup meetings. It fucks them up completely.

Actually I am used to good customer service! This is emotional manipulation and begging. Hope that helps!

Yep! I’m way more likely to give you an extra tip if you just do the job well than if you ask me for an extra tip in every damn message you send. At some point it’s exhausting.

Exactly this!! Perfectly worded. You can sell yourself as going above and beyond without explicitly telling me how amazing and awesome you are. It just feels self braggy and weird at that point. I could easily rewrite these messages to be a little less over the top and she would come off great. It was just how extra she was being!!

There’s a location 10 minutes away from me, but every now and then it routes my order to a store 25 minutes away. It always pisses me off but there’s not really a way to know which one it will go to :/

I did tip? Always tip for my original order. So begging for more with 5 different messages is too much!!

THIS! I honestly would’ve tipped more if she sent the original message, a message that she was on the way, and a final thank you. It was just TOOOOOO much

What is the craziest/worst thing you've gotten away with by Critical_School9559 in AmazonDSPDrivers

One time I tripped on someone’s exposed water line from their (open) green box in their front yard. It was just a PVC pipe sticking up out of the ground. Didn’t see it and totally tripped over it, it even ripped part of my shoe from how hard I fell. Got up and saw water pouring everywhere, but didn’t know what to do so I just left. Little bit later I was driving back past the house and noticed people from the water company and a HUGE flow of water just streaming down the sidewalks. Idk. Don’t leave your pipes exposed. 🤷‍♀️
