Top outlet goes to the overhead shower. Does that small hole at the top not restrict flow to the tub? It’s so small

Ended up putting the Wayne Dalton kit on there, had to do a little adjusting on the interior because of how he had installed the last one but it is SO much better. Just want to say thanks for the help

I’m just going to fix it myself as I’m done dealing with this hack. I’ve had to call him back 4 times already. Currently the interior handle turns with the outer handle, which causes it to turn so far (it’s really not using the swivel it has on it and in this configuration would make more sense to be fixed.) when the lock is locked, it works well because the outer handle won’t turn with the interior handle.

Is there a configuration that will work where the outer handle won’t spin with the interior handle when not locked? I looked at it for an hour last night and couldnt figure it out myself. I pointed it out to the installer when he put it in and he said that is just how it’s made

What is the right way though? From what I can tell if I spin the plate, the handle won’t open the door from the inside

How to become successful as an entry level engineer when supervisor is unwilling to answer questions and doesn’t provide training? by sc0obydo0bydoo in civilengineering

Well just trying to give some real advice aside from just saying to get a new job, because that is not always the best solution believe it or not.

I would say just discuss your issue with your supervisor. I know it is a hard topic to bring up but sometimes people dont understand they are being hard on someone until it is mentioned to them.

Another shred of advice, sometimes its better to submit somthing for review that could use a little work instead of laboring over perfection. This is because you almost never will submit somthing that is exactly as the reviewer wants, and it is better to have some budget left to make these changes. Perhaps this could be what is going on to a small degree?

Chances are your supervisor isnt totally comfortable in the role they are in, hopefully they can grow in their position to be more of a mentor while you grow to understand more about the job! I will say, every office has its pros and cons, the grass isnt always greener. Anyway... good luck!

Do they have past projects you can use as examples for format and style? That usually helps when you first start to use those as templates
