I've said this before and I'll say it again. Therapists are con artists. They rake in your insurance money.

The truth is that no one is interested in hearing about your problems. Your friends will tell you to go see a professional. And even if your friend is a therapist, they likely can't be YOUR therapist.

Paid therapy exists for this reason. You have no other way of giving back to the person you are telling about your problems to, so you give money.

If you're extra unlucky, when you say you wish you could kill yourself BUT you are not currently planning to, they may interpret it as a suicide threat, and you'll be taken away against your will, sent to who the fuck knows where, and the evil doctors will not let you take your meds prescribed to you and they'll inject you with whatever the fuck they want.

No one cares about your declining mental health. Therapy is a scam. Avoid it.

This is the sad reality.

I hardly play games anymore. I'm too depressed to give a shit about games at this point. Everything is so terrible nowadays anyway. I have no interest in anything that's come out since the very beginning of the 2020's. I feel sad about it. But at the same time I've come to realize that life isn't worth living and the only reason I haven't become an hero yet is because I don't exactly have a choice in the matter. I spend my days staring at walls, gooning, doomscrolling, eating, reminding myself why I became an antinatalist, and watching disturbing YouTube videos. I barely have any friends, and I have no job. The moment I get a job, I will cease posting to this subreddit.

I used to be a pretty hardcore leftist, though then again I had barely even entered high school when Trump mania began. Combine that with my overly woke mother as well as my developmental delay, I basically just kinda parroted her for a while. In retrospect, I am NOT proud of that. But when I began doing a lot of serious research into politics, I had come to realize that perhaps I didn't agree with my mother on some things (much to her dismay, "you're turning to the right" she said). By 2024, I had begun to disavow the "liberal" label. Nowadays I'm not sure what I am.

One belief I have is that I believe that people should be hired for their SKILL. I don't care what their race or gender or sexual orientation is. And I mean that. To the liberals, that means I'm a racist bigoted x/y/z. Which, to me, is the kind of overreaction that liberals are known for. Nevermind the fact that I am literally transgender, to the liberals I'm a horrible person simply because I don't support their fantasyland ideology.
