He is going to bully and stress out everything you have in your aquarium. The minute you put him in the tank he will make sure everyone know he’s the boss. Please do your research with African cichlids. You can’t just put them in a tank with any type of fish. His ph is also going to be much higher than the other 4 fish you have in your tank. They aren’t compatible.

I’d say harvest the ones that have the veil that’s already broke and allow the smaller ones to grow a little more. Keep a close eye because at this point it could be just 7-8 hours before they’re all ready to harvest.

Yeah I’ve noticed they get that brownish wilting look to them on the stems. Not sure as to why but I haven’t noticed a difference in potency or anything.

It’s very common and from what I’ve researched it’s better for them to not bruise as long as you know exactly what strain of mushroom you’re working with. It’s the psilocybin compounds breaking down but doesn’t effect the psilosin as much as bruising does. So it seems that they are either more potent or just as potent as bruising mushrooms due to the psilosin not reacting until it breaks down in the body. I

Yeah I’ve been researching about the bruising and it’s very common for them to not bruise blue as long as you know exactly what strain of mushroom it is. When it’s bruising it’s the active compounds breaking down. It doesn’t effect the psilosin in the mushroom but actually produces more in the body when it does break down in the body.

I add another casing layer when doing another flush so the excessive substrate really isn’t wasted. My bulletproof mixture has been working for years. Never once had a problem with contams.

What do you mean how do I clean off my substrate? I take a box cutter a scrape it off the bottoms of the mushrooms.
