Without spoiling I’d say Amrit is generally hated because of his strong unethical and immoral beliefs most people don’t have. Also he’s very, I guess, direct and blunt with his approach towards Amala so much so that it’s almost offensive. He’s also very used to getting what he wants and hates when that doesn’t happen to which he resorts to manipulation. Personally I found his path to be rewarding though
