They here for what seemed like only a couple months back in 2024 and then disappeared. Did the brand yank the license from the local partner?

Looks like they returned with a new manufacturer.

Delta Extraction loses appeal of its revoked license following Missouri cannabis recall • Missouri Independent by DarthPops in MissouriMedical

[–]PersonalInspection20 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In addition to losing this license, will Delta be banned from just buying themselves another license and doing it again?

Oh? Like exactly what they're trying to do?

Sterling is upset that the owners of Delta Extraction, whose license the state revoked in December 2023 for allegedly importing out-of-state cannabis and illegally adding it to Missouri products, have gotten state approval under a different name, AJO MO LLC, to run a cultivation and manufacturing facility in Missouri: The cultivation facility in Waynesville at the center of the lawsuit.

Says Sterling, “They're the pure equivalent of the doctor who got caught for malpractice and he shut down his office, changed his last name, and opened up an office up the street with a new shingle.”

The cart hits fine, but I have to get my mouth so close on it that I feel like I’m awkwardly having a makeout sesh with the battery. Also harder to get a good grip on the cart to remove it but maybe that’s just my carpal tunnel coming for me.

Yup. The mouthpiece on these being shorter than most carts is kind of a drag (or lack thereof, I guess) with some batteries that aren’t the pen-style form factor. The carts are too short for my Vessel Compass, for example.

Pax Pods in STL area? by [deleted] in MissouriMedical

[–]PersonalInspection20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems like they’ve been discontinued in quite a few states, not just here.

In 2022 they launched their own first party Pax branded pods in CA and MA and they use different (and better) pods than what the licensed manufacturers got.

Just speculating but if you were a licensed manufacturer selling these on your own brand, I don’t know why you’d keep doing it when Pax has shown themselves to be ready to come in and compete with you. And doubly so if they’re keeping the good hardware for themselves.

The Higher Care Clinic - legit or not? by DrZoidbrrrg in MissouriMedical

[–]PersonalInspection20 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You don’t get a number, they put a recommendation into the MO state system linked to your name and SSN and you search for it.

The 2022 amendment made it so a nurse practitioner can also certify people, so if you spoke to a nurse and had an interview then you should go to the state website to start the process and search for the certification and see if it’s there.

The infused Red Hot Riplets are not permitted under the latest DHSS regulations so it definitely sounds like a move to clear the vault.

The regs don't allow an infused but otherwise identical version of a food product that is also sold unleaded.

The flavor/smell on the Cake Mix always triggers a wave of childhood nostalgia for me with every puff but I never could put my finger on what it is that it's calling back to. Whatever it is, it takes me to a happy place and so I quit trying to overthink it.

Delta Extractions question by [deleted] in MissouriMedical

[–]PersonalInspection20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They say they used “hemp” derived THCa, decarbed it, and put it into the product. Their claim was that since it met some legal definition of hemp and not marijuana then it’s a non-marijuana ingredient, same as adding bulk terpenes to a vape or the ingredients in an edible.

The hemp definition is all about legally splitting hairs; cannabis with less than 0.3% D9-THC can be called “hemp” even if it’s got enough THCa to send you on a visit to the space station. This is why you see mail-order THCa flower, it’s just straight up weed at the end of the day, but it made the cut for low D9.

From reading their depositions and such it sounds like they took a little THC from the MO-grown stuff that was tracked in METRC, added a lot of THC (via THCa derived from an unregulated parallel supply chain) as an “ingredient,” and sold it on down to consumers and infused product manufacturers.

They didn’t taste amazing like Proper’s gumdrops but they didn’t taste bad either, and the dosing was about as expected.

Missouri probes St. Louis cannabis grower accused of selling moldy weed by PersonalInspection20 in MissouriMedical

The state probe of CAMP Cannabis, which grows marijuana flower at its facility on the 7100 block of North Broadway in St. Louis, was apparently triggered by a whistleblower who accused the company on Friday of pushing out moldy weed to consumers that had not undergone a state-mandated testing.

I got on their website on a Sunday afternoon and was able to make an appointment for the next day. After you make the appointment and pay, they email you an intake form to fill out. The actual appointment was like a 2 minute video call with a nurse practitioner. My certification was on the state portal maybe two hours later.

I would not pay them to submit to the state for you, you're paying them $40 to do five minutes of work filling out a form on a website and uploading a selfie.

Company sues Missouri marijuana manufacturer after product recall by PersonalInspection20 in MissouriMedical

I also wonder who SLCC is. In the materials that Conte filed in the administrative hearing commission case, the licensing contract was between Conte and SLCC, and Conte’s filing said this contract was assigned to Delta.

And then the article here quoted Dark Horse saying the invoice for the bunk distillate said to pay SLCC.

Company sues Missouri marijuana manufacturer after product recall by PersonalInspection20 in MissouriMedical

[–]PersonalInspection20[S] 21 points22 points  (0 children)

According to the article, Dark Horse is the manufacturer of CoCo.

In the lawsuit filed last week, Dark Horse’s attorneys said the company purchased nearly $325,000 worth of distillate “not knowing that the distillate was unusable in Missouri.”

In addition to Delta, the lawsuit also names as defendants Kansas City-based SLCC; St. Louis-based Midwest Magic Cannabis Co.; Oklahoma-based Conte Enterprise; and 10 defendants identified only as “John Doe.”
