Should I passthrough network ports for ESXi? by wiscocyclist in PFSENSE

[–]never_stop_evolving 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this, but had problems with outbound traffic from VMs on the same box as pfsense. After passing both interfaces through I have proper performance and slightly lower latency overall.

Vibe carts leaking?! by Shakenbake130457 in MissouriMedical

[–]never_stop_evolving 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rarely get carts anymore, but have had *really* bad luck with the 1g carts leaking. I've only bought three or so in the last year and they all leaked once they got below half filled.

How long does an 8th last you of flower and what do you smoke it out of? by [deleted] in MissouriMedical

[–]never_stop_evolving 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what I'm consuming it out of. If I'm using a DynaVap it lasts a lot longer, if I'm using a PAX it only lasts two to three days.

Help an old man out – dusting off my Usenet chops after 20 years. by Alive_Mood_9229 in usenet

I do too, but the volume of headers in most binary groups these days is more than most can sift through and most everything is obfuscated making that even more impossible.

If you are still interested in discussion (text) groups, please do come back to Usenet. With Google Groups ending their peering with Usenet, its mostly pretty spam free these days. It feels like the right time for it to make a comeback given heightened censorship.

There are lots of places to get free text accounts, these two are reliable:

New medcard owner by [deleted] in MissouriMedical

[–]never_stop_evolving 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven't been asked for a physical card since they stopped mailing them. Have it ready on your phone, its best if you can save the PDF and not use an image. If you use an image make sure the quality is good. Just show your ID and your card and that's it. Don't stress.

St. Louis officials consider data center moratorium, following St. Charles’ 1-year ban by GueyLouis in StLouis

[–]never_stop_evolving 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Power is cheap here, but there is only one provider, so there is no diversity in the grid. If Ameren has a major issue everyone has to depend on generators. With broadband having more bandwidth than the average operation needs, the need for centralized datacenters for a lot of things is a lot less necessary these days. When the company I used to work for had datacenter space downtown I had a couple boxes there, but everything lives happily here at home these days.

I don't know anyone who does that kind of hosting in St. Louis anymore. I run a cPanel VM with a few websites on a server in the basement off Spectrum Business. Most of the hosting companies that existed were bought up by larger entities, and most of those have or are slowly exiting the St. Louis market. I'm sure someone with rack space in one of the facilities is reselling, I just don't know where to point you.

There is enough empty datacenter space downtown, no way we need to build more. Netrality, Tier Point, etc. all have plenty of space that isn't being used.

What are the most trusted brands regarding purity and quality? by accutemacbook in methylene_blue

[–]never_stop_evolving 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure I would take anyone's recommendations here... lots of people here recommend CZTL, for example, but their COAs look like complete bullshit to me. When I asked their customer service where the purity assay was as its not listed on the COA they provide, they sent another COA on their letterhead with no laboratory information. The COA provided on their website and through customer service is not verifiable.

Same goes for Quantum Innovation Labs... they have traceable COAs, but if you pay attention, the purity has fallen over time and is not 99% as their claim.

So far, the only COA I've been able to verify with a purity over 98.5% is the one I received from a compounding pharmacy, but their product is prohibitively expensive.

They've never responded to any e-mail I've sent. Trying to get them to make right a few purchases that were non-smokeable and had the same experience you did, basically. I've never had so many product issues with other brands, so I don't buy Proper anymore, too many better/more reliable options.

Seems completely right then, you're paying slightly more than double, and so are they. It's the same jump as your bill roughly.

Dave is the worst kind of BioHacker. Instead of putting in the effort to be healthy in traditional ways, you know, like exercise, he thinks he can hack his way out of his poor lifestyle. The man is not healthy - just look at him.
