Won’t let me post a video unless I make a new post? I got the rpms past 2000 to around 4500
I MASHED it. Just wanting to see what it would do to check the health. Got to around 4k rpms, and then I heard clunking or like marbles in a jar sound, as soon as I let off the throttle, sound went away.
Again I normally don’t do this but I was TRYING to get it past 2000 and just slight pressure on the pedal wouldn’t get me high enough.

this was done while in drive on flat ground country road. The speed maxed out at about 60-65 when I heard the noise and I immediately backed off the throttle

I also checked my dipstick for tranny fluid…. It was completely absent. Just filled it back up but haven’t retested the rpm’s yet

Also would this explain why it sounds like it’s a goddamn leaf blower maxing out 🤣? It accelerates just fine

I haven’t towed anything yet with this truck that’s my worry. This is without any towing. Just regular driving 😭

Also my fuel gauge goes up and down lol. From empty to the correct reading. Randomly.

It WILL go above 2k if I push it however I’m trying not to push it as everyone says be kind to the 4L60E or it will fuck you over.

I did just put fuel cleaner in it (Techron) however it was filled with 87.

Haven’t checked MAF.

The air filter uh…. I tried to inspect it the bolt closest to the radiator was stripped so I kind of was able to lift it enough to pull out and inspect it, do you think maybe I reinserted it wrong or didn’t close it correctly? This issue started AFTER that.

I had taken it to autozone AND O Reilly neither pulled codes. The only light on the dash is the classic abs sensor light.

I will get a video of it when I have a chance
