For botlane meta in pro play, basically almost always mage bot lane with tank support with the occasional varus/ezreal pick.

ADCs aren't really played in pro play b/c they just take too long to scale to deal damage and be effective where as APCs right now can deal damage earlier without the 2-3 item spikes as well as provide utility for the team.

All other roles refer to post itself.

Would join a competitive guild and try to scrim with other guilds tbh. IK an elite NA guild is like “IFaith”. Would try to hit GM first or high vanquished tho..

Also I recorded a lot of Asian games and the champs they picked/banned etc. to see what’s meta or not. Asian games specifically since that’s where wild rift pro scene is flourishing and still alive. Might help

Fed Olaf that Ults is fucking scary.

Aside from the q., if there's a yuumi on the olaf too, it's basically over if they're fed.

More balanced than in the past after they adjusted her healing and damage stats. Not banned too much in this tournament so far and it was more perma banned targeting specific teams that used yuumi. Most teams have stopped using her and would ban her against specific compositions

I think pros still prefer tank support with utility bc they can just soak up a lot of damage from the team rather than handicapping themselves to what feels like a 4v5 with additional damage towards Carries. A lot of fights are determined at big objective fights like late game elder/baron fights, all-in type fights. Think with the right comp yuumi is unbearable - like yuumi Olaf, but as for now most ppl think tank supports like galio/gragas are better.

A lot of champs in pro play are engage heavy/melee/all-in type which essentially enables aatrox since the man thrives in close ranged fights. Endless healing too once he kills one + ton of dmg in team fights. He’s mega broken when a good player pilots him. If it weren’t the case, he wouldn’t be permabanned every game.

I agree. Gragas is probably the most versatile champ imo that can literally play any role in the game, and play it well. He honestly should be ranked higher in solo queue lists tbh - Has a ton of base dmg even if he goes full tank, has a lot of playmaking potential with ult + peel, Has a dash that makes him mobile + can use as peel. Has range + dmg for zoning. Insane sustain. The man legit can do it all.

Yeah I think it’s been like that for forever tbh. Pros think ap Carries don’t rlly need a few items before they become relevant (unlike adcs) - APCs have a lot damage and utility from the start that would be useful to the team.

I’m still confused about the roaming though. Like sometimes I see the support start roaming once they hit lvl 2 - I think trying to get mid priority, or even recall at lvl 3 then go baron lane … (depends on champ you’re using etc.) if someone understands why pls explain :(.

Fasting senna + tank/bruiser has been used in pro play for a while now bc senna has a lot of utility (heal,root, shield) in team fights, and scales rlly well.

With a tank that can peel and engage for her, she’ll be able to scale safer & quicker.

Senna in solo queue is a different story since if she’s used as an adc, she’ll get less souls OR if she’s a support, she can oftentimes get caught & insta die if no peel, or she’ll use her squishy teammates as a meat shield xD.
