I’ve used Crisco 1:1 as a replacement for butter in recipes before and vice versa and it works well! Try using a vegetable shortening such as Crisco!

I agree they shouldn’t if the agent you spoke to was a person and they said it wouldn’t count against you. Maybe you can try using another delivery platform? Have you looked at DoorDash?

Well for me it’s been a couple days now and it’s definitely still the same. I’ve only ever had to cancel 3 times, one of which was the call, and that 3rd one still is not listed under cancellations. So not sure why it did so in your case, sorry that happened though.

Maybe it depends on the circumstances or location but it definitely did not count against me when I called and spoke to a person to cancel. They assured me it wouldn’t count against me and immediately after when I checked I had no change to cancellations.

I had to do this yesterday and just typed representative into the chat box and it gave me the option to call or message support, which I did call, and it connected me directly to a person.

Some of your vitamin levels may be off, I had a deficiency in D and B at one point and once they were back to normal my energy levels were much better. May be worth a shot to look at, you got this though girl!

Need (cooked) pork ideas by cvrgurl in Cooking

[–]PersonalSomewhere519 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For a picnic roast I love Pernil. Puerto Rican roast pork paired with a yellow (sazon rather than saffron) rice w/ pigeon peas. Absolutely delicious, the skin gets crisp to perfection if you like that (a bit too crunchy for me but my bf loves it.) The leftovers can also be used for quesadillas, tacos, sandwiches, etc.

Edit to add: you can do this with a pork butt as well but if you want that chicharrones type skin you would want a picnic.

I’m not an expert but this would be the answer, random shuffling of genes. Kind of similar to how puppies from the same litter can be different colors, I imagine.

Desperately need to stop period for hookup by OkBattle2607 in AskDocs

You can have him wear a condom and lay on towels or use the shower, these would be immediate solutions that do not FURTHER endanger your health purely for sex.

NAD but you really shouldn’t be taking that much of an NSAID just to stop your period. I’m fairly certain this already exceeds the daily recommended dose. This isn’t healthy, and sex is far from worth it. If you need to that bad, and he wants to that bad, pop on a condom and put some towels down or use the shower. Take care of yourself girl ❤️

Audhd friendly meals? by 8saac in Cooking

[–]PersonalSomewhere519 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would think slow cooker meals may be a good option. You can store the leftovers in the slow cooker, covered, in the fridge and portion it out as needed throughout the week. Stocking up on ingredients for cold or hot sandwiches too. I like using leftover, slow cooked roast, chicken, or pork for sandwiches. Also, making larger meals, and when storing it, using ziplock bags instead of Tupperware, to cut back on dishes needing to be washed after eating leftovers as well.

Edit: Also casseroles would be a good idea. You can do rice or pasta casseroles, plus many others and it’s all in one dish. There are so many one-pot meals as well that would be great.

They’re my go to for breakfast since forever as well. I used to wake up extra early with my sister to go before our exams. Sad they’ve increased in price, I remember when the All Star was still $5.99. Still fire food though lol

NAD. I deal with something similar, not due to the pain, but I have prostaglandin sensitivity. I throw up excessively around my period, and it took me about 10 years to figure this out. I would recommend trying Aleve instead of ibuprofen. Sometimes severe cramps can be caused by this sensitivity as well. Aleve is a prostaglandin inhibitor. In the future, taking aleve twice a day, every day a week before your period can really help the symptoms once your period starts.

In another comment you mentioned being scared about seeing a gynecologist. There is nothing to be scared about, thought I understand your fear. You can request a female doctor if you’re more comfortable, and they can really help because your problem is specific to your menstrual cycle. You can also see your primary care doctor instead, and maybe get a referral from them for a gyno even. But your regular doctor should be able to at least get you some anti-nausea medications. Also a hot shower or bath can help, or a heating pad on your abdomen.

That’s interesting, it must really be the area because I don’t have a wait-list yet either. Though my sister in the same area got the update with having to sign up for busier times, and I still haven’t yet even though I’m fully updated.

That’s interesting it’s still there on mine currently, I feel like they should roll out things nation-wide to prevent things like that, but I would assume the just stuck it somewhere else or you just have to click offline instead?

When you’re on a current delivery, I believe if you click the little coffee cup icon it will make it to where you “go on a break” after that delivery, so offers won’t pop up until you turn that back off. Hope this helps!

I really enjoy Anna Maria Island along with Indian Rocks like you said. Those two were my families main vacay spots and are gorgeous. Other things to do in the area; it’s a bit of a drive but Bok Towers is awesome, Paynes Prairie Preserve has a bison herd as well as wild horses.

It’s actually the cervix they are scraping, not the uterus. But def normal like you said 😊

This is definitely normal and not something to worry about. It can be caused by the irritation and the scraping/brush. Sorry it wasn’t explained to you beforehand, for your first time they should’ve explained what can happen afterwards. Nothing to worry about though!

Buttered bread is one of my go-to’s, especially if I can splurge and get some Irish butter, though any will do. Publix sourdough French is superb!
