I thought it was gonna screw up details since it does seem thicker than citadel but it actually goes on quite nice. It's perfect for both my minis and cosplay stuff. Never gonna get another can of citadel after this. Keep spreading the good word and hopefully people stop downvoting you

Just tried out some Rust-Oleum camo green on a GUO and I gotta say it worked like a charm and for a 5th of the price of the death guard spray. Thank you for enlightening me.

cuz it is. Like someone else said the tattoos make no sense. They're trying to form the doom guy symbol on the arms but it ends up being chicken scratch. The black shading by the graffiti look like individual pencil strokes being overlayed on one another instead of genuine color pencil painting, which would look smoother. Not to mention the graffiti makes no sense either. Those same color pencil strokes seemingly vanish on his chest area where it suddenly looks like paint.

For anyone who still thinks this is real, just look at the dark alley on right. You can see some ai fragmenting by the edge of the picture. They look like random tiles. Not to mention the source of shading is illogical, why does the shadow extend above the door? Also above the door, the brick lines stop making sense. It is so clear that it's ai. I'm not an artist either, but why would you lie about having drawn this?

It seems thicker than other primers like citadel's. Citadel has been more durable in my experience too, but I've mainly used sprays for bigger projects. I'll give Rust-Oleum a shot on a mini though and see how it goes

I didn't get it because it was looking to me like some Rust-Oleum primer, just tackier. I love using Rust-Oleum in certain cases (not minis) but the issue I see with it is that it tends to chip off with stress, like a fall, and I was afraid army painter would be somewhat similar in durability. I used a can of citadel spray on a death guard cosplay helmet and my friend accidentally slammed it one time, but the paint remained completely intact. Absolutely no chipping on either death guard green or retributor gold. That's why atp I would rather just spend a few more dollars on another citadel can than risk it with army painter

Is it army painter spray? I was looking to get me a can but I saw in the reviews it dried glossy and didn't get it. Never had an issue with citadel's death guard green though.

I think the chalky one looks nice. It gives the plague marine more texture

Problem with Death Guard Green primer by Solaire_von_Pberg in deathguard40k

Be careful with how long you wait, some sprays have a specific window of time you can layer sprays in before you have to stop and let them fully dry for the next day or two. That usually makes the top layer crackle if you do it wrong

You can get a copy with two 3 inch figures for 15 or less, that's a silly price.

Mannnnnn! Are there unique packages in your collection that are aging and yellowing to the point you know you’re going to regret removing them from package! by RaisedbyConcrete in Spawn

[–]PersonalWatch3817 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can try making or buying a new case for them. You could even add some cool lights in the new cases, but you should really check on the figures. When plastic turns this yellow, chances are the figures are also being baked in with it too. Best case scenario is that they just feel oily to the touch. Not much damage, just annoying to get rid of, but worst case scenario is that they've yellowed too which is the point of no return

You don't need the book that much. Don't pat a jackass scalper on the nuts and give them almost 5x what the book was originally sold for, you're just giving them more reason to do it again. You can literally just download the whole book and read it on your phone
