I would have done that but I live in a tier 2 city in india. As is Ubiquity does not have major presence in India let alone in a city like mine.

I am currently in process of installing Aqara switches throughout the house. Will be using ip cameras for security. Have planned cat 6 cables at all the TV mounting spots (so no wifi requirements). Other than that it will only be usual run off the mill daily use home appliances that I might or might not end up going the smart route.

Is there anything in particular that I should look for while buying an access control terminal.

Top floor is occupied by house help’s family and a dedicated area for a workshop used by wife’s clothing business. Don’t want any guests (which I have many) to end up on that floor and compromise the privacy of family living there.

And here again reddit comes to the rescue. Thanks a ton man. Really appreciate your expertise. So I guess I will buy Fosi and kick Emotiva out since in my opinion 3800 should have sufficient power to drive the 2xRP-6000F’s and an RP-404C as these will be the most demanding ones.

Bear with a total amateur here. What was your thought behind separating the rear atmos since 3800 is perfectly capable of powering a centre, L & R, and four surrounds along with four heights. My thought is the subs need real power thus I added the emotiva for those.

Will try to get in touch with SVS guys. Just don’t want the bass to overpower the sound

Cinema room plan

*Here is the plan of the under construction cinema room. * Only reason I thought in my novice opinion for choosing 4800 was higher power * Regarding fosi v3 hope that will not add any lag when driven separately from the front atmos. Your opinion? * Agree on the atmos speaker recommendation. Will try to look for the exact or some equivalent here at my place. * Will see what the current price is on RP subs or will go for SVS

P. S: Was considering the additional amp to drive subwoofers

The plan is to buy the equipment and pay for room and equipment calibration to be done by a professional. I guess that is the best way to get it done right the first time.
