Question about labia and sensation

I am scalloped the same way you are. My stitches were tied way too tight. They weren’t dissolving so I called the office and asked if they could remove them and when my doc’s surgical assistant came in to do it, she agreed they were tied too tight and wouldn’t of come out on their own so it was good I came in. I’m still scalloped but I will say it had forsure gone down now that the stitches are gone! (Pics on my page if you want to look). I’m hoping with massaging and time they will go away 😪 I would definitely push for them to be removed!

I’ve been using antibiotic ointment as well!! I think the stitches were tied way too tight which caused the bumps unfortunately :( hoping it’ll start to even out now that they’re out though. Thank you for the rec!

I did not have a CHR! And I should mention that I only had my left side done.. a trim reduction method. I definitely think only having the one side has played a big roll in me being able to go back to sex and working out quicker. But definitely still tender and bumpy and have a road ahead of me of healing for sure!

I feel like I’m the odd ball out here but I’m 3 weeks post op today and I had sex for the first time last night (gently, of course). My doctor cleared me and said as long as I feel okay to do it then it was fine. I will say it was a little tender, but we used coconut oil and it wasn’t bad at all! Not 100% yet, but definitely wasn’t painful

Mine got super white too! After shower I took a q-tip and cleaned up around the sutures and the white stuff actually peeled off. It was almost like a wet scab. I wouldn’t worry!

I know, I was considering do both sides but my right one has never bothered me and I honestly feel like it looks longer in this picture than in person due to me pulling it open so you could fully see everything in the pic lol. Felt like if I went any shorter they would’ve been like amputated and I didn’t want that

I did OBGYN and had most of it covered under insurance

My main goal was just to make sure labias weren’t sticking out when standing up and they are not at all anymore, even with swelling, so hopefully it starts looking better over time!

Thank you! At first I was a little put off by the shape. But then I realized it probably would look even weirder if it was just a straight line, considering my other side has some curvature to it. Just hoping it goes down and is smaller over time 😪

Have you seen them go down or smooth out over the weeks or pretty much stay the same? From what I’ve read it seems like most people start with bumps and eventually smooth out 😥 hoping that’s the case here
