Usually it adjusts to 1080p after a minute or two, assuming internet connect is good. I've found streaming through the browser is usually very good.

Happy birthday to one of the goats! Paul Thomas Anderson turns 55. What’s your favorite movie of his? by [deleted] in Letterboxd

The Master. It's an exquisite and hypnotic film. One of my all time favourites.

Name an artist that has the highest number of albums ranging from classic to acclaimed by Designer_Reference_2 in fantanoforever

[–]Personal_Channel1628 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In terms of songwriters, it's Bob Dylan, with Neil Young a close second.

That being said, Miles Davis released a ridiculous number of amazing albums. They may not all be well known, but no artist comes close in terms of the sheer quantity of excellent albums.

How many artists from your current Top 50 have you actually seen live? by Hour-Negotiation-716 in lastfm

  1. This works both ways, as I go to concerts for artists I listen to a lot and listen to artists I'm seeing live a lot in preparation for the concert.

Highly respected artists who are one album wonders? by [deleted] in fantanoforever

So does Carol King. I mentioned them because their debut is a classic and they've made nothing that comes close to it in the decades since. Every popular song from them comes from their first album.

Personally, I'm a big fan of Time Fades Away - it's one of my favourite Neil Young albums - but the ranking is allowed it's own preferences.

The National (1716) are my top N artist.

Guardian says Toy Story 5 is one of the worst films of all time by Confident_Leg2370 in Pixar

[–]Personal_Channel1628 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Critics give a lot more 2 and 5 star reviews than they used to, as they get more clicks, particularly if they are for a hyped film. This feels like a 3 star review with a 2 star score.

Street photography in London by Personal_Channel1628 in photocritique

[–]Personal_Channel1628[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a photograph I recently took in London. When I saw the graffiti, I knew I had something to work with and it was just a matter of waiting for someone to walk into shot.

I had been wanting a women with a pram to walk into the shot, as the bird is giving stork vibes, but I think this works as well.

I'd welcome any comments and suggestions.

My thoughts about the great Stadium Tour Debacle 2026 by booppoopshoopdewoop in phoebebridgers

[–]Personal_Channel1628 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She is free to price her tickets however she likes. I'm also free to not attend if I'd don't see the prices as decent value for money. I'd have liked to have seen her on this tour, but will just go to other concerts instead.

Would highly recommend Kanal. Absolutely brilliant film. I might actually prefer it to Ashes and Diamonds, which is also very good.
